Oceans of Fun is a great family atmosphere. There are numerous water slides, lazy river, and my favorite is the wave pool. Everyone that works there is friendly and appears to really enjoy their job. It is also a great place for couples, there is an adult pool that has a bar and does not have the distraction of children. You can also find coupons for the park.

This is a great place if you are young or have kids or if you are over 21 and can get into the adults only pool. They have a lot of attractions for the younger kids and some fun slides. The adults only pool is nice since you can sit back and have a drink. Wish they were open later but probably can't be for safety issues. Its a great place to spend a hot summer day.

Oceans of Fun is a really great place to take the kids. We had a blast here except that we went on a Saturday and the lines were very long. I would definitely recommend a visit on a weekday. The pools and slides were clean. All rides were rated appropriately. We even brought in our own tubes and there are air filling stations in which to air them up. This really saved us quite a bit of money instead of renting the tubes. We also brought in sandwiches and snacks which also helped on the expenses. Discount tickets can be bought at Price Chopper.

It's a good place to take the kids on a hot and sunny day. They can spend all day at this park and not be bored. Only problem is that its a little pricey to get in and of course food and drink adds up. Overall, going once in the summer would be nice for the kids and to get a tan.

Ocean's of Fun is great water park, and almost the option in town. Unlike the other place, Ocean's of Fun doesn't get health violations, has new attractions almost every year, and a HUGE wave pool. It's not on par with some of he big city, big company parks, but it's still a great water park. Don't forget your waterproof sunblock though.

Oceans of Fun is affilated with Worlds of Fun, and was placed there in the 1980's because Kansas City was lacking a water park for the summer time. Oceans of Fun is much cheaper than Worlds of Fun. You can also buy day passes to both parks, so you can go back and forther between them all day. Lots of water slides, and a few different kinds of pools. Some for smaller children, and some for the big kids with a bar right in the middle of the pool.

When I would go to Oceans of Fun as a child, I always generally upset. I was too scared of the huge water slides, and everything else was either for very small children, or for adults. It isn't any different now, so if you take your 7-10 year old, make sure they aren't afraid of the water rides, or they will be a little bored.
As an adult, the pools are great, because they have bars! Tickets are fairly cheap, I believe under $20. dollars a person.

What a great way to spend a hot summer day for not a lot of money. This is a wonderful water park and one of the only ones around that has so much to offer. There are water slides for older children and adults and even a kiddie area specially designed with the younger ones in mind. They also have some adult pools and a huge wave pool for everyone in mind. Grab a season pass and come as much as you want or buy single tickets which can get a little expensive if you tend to come more than 3 times. You can also get a pass to go to Worlds of Fun located next door.
