So we stopped in here while bar hopping, they have a decent Happy Hour selection from 3-5pm. We had the fried wontons which were excellent. My Dad & I had the Mai Tai, which was the best we've had yet, and My Mom got a Mango Margarita she's still dreaming about. Need I say more? They have an excellent view, the cars below didn't bother us. I personally, have selected hearing - so I drown out the cars as I'm looking at the beautiful ocean! It really can't get any better, if only we had made it here earlier, we got there 10 minutes before Happy Hour was ending and we were looking for a cheap, but drunken filled night. The service was a little bit slow, but all in all, Rio's was great and I highly recommend it!

The atmosphere is high energy and their food is almost as good as their home brewed beer. Local pubs get me everytime and this is another example of great local beer at great prices. Pizza is a touch on the expensive side but man was it good.

I like this restaurant because it is located on the waterfront and it serves some of the best seafood. This restaurant has won numerous awards such as the 2003 Hale Aina Award and other awards by Bon Appetit magazine. This restaurant is one of the best for ambiance, fresh fish and seafood. This restaurant is within walking distance to some of the hotels on Alii Drive.

The food at Kenichi is amazing-anything you order is going to please you.My favorite on the menu would be the raw salad, the Austin roll, tempura beets and tempura avocado and don't forget the chocolate molten cake! The service is very prompt whether if your seated at the sushi bar or at a table.Prices are great and you walk away feeling very satisfied.Don't miss out on a great place to dine in Kona!

This is a wonderful place for a romantic meal. We sat at the rail at sunset and watched the colors of the sky change as waves crashed on the rocks below. Service was prompt and friendly. The king crab was tasty but hard to extract (they didn't have the tools, and it got messy), so next time I'd order something else--but I would definitely go back. The chardonnay was one of the nicest I've had, and the bread and basil butter was a nice twist on basic fare. The mac nut pie? To die for.

They have a wonderful lunch menu that includes appetizers like their delicious nacho dishes and they serve tacos, burritos, and enchiladas for lunch. We married in Kona and at the last minute decided to change our plans for our rehersal dinner. Jackie Rey's was recommended to us and as soon as we walked through the door, our experience was exceptional. The owner spoke with us and put together a meal for 30 for the next night, costomizing it to our price range and needs. Arriving the next day, the resturaunt was nicely set up for our party and the wait staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was delicious. Though slighly outside of the main part of town, there is still an ocean veiw from a charming porch. This experience was a highlight of our wedding and we are very grateful to Jackie Rey's for providing it.
