A real comfortable atmosphere, just what you'd expect on main street usa. Comfort food & reasonably priced family dining to top off a day-trip excursion to the mountains of San Diego.

It might have been that my group and I were extremely hungry, but it took a while for them to prepare our food.
We had breakfast here and most of us ordered omelets. Their servings a huge! Well enough to fill you up and still have your plate be half full. This place is a bit pricey, though. The omelets cost about $13. The food didn't taste that great.

This place has the most awesome breakfast around!! My husband and I always eat our breakfast here, whenever we are visiting Julian. Their egg sandwich is the best. They use thick bacon and real cheddar cheese. The portions are huge. It is well worth the wait to be seated!

This little town was found in 1870's during the gold rush. It is about an hour east of San Diego. What this little countryside town is famous for are their apple pies. During most of the year, especially fall, you will see your local Vons or Ralph's stocked with Julian apple pies. There are lots of little shops there and most of what's in there are handmade or manually processed like their apple honey. There are also horse drawn carriages on the streets to add to the countryside atmosphere.
It's really a cute and relaxing place to visit.
