There is no better Meat Market in the U.S. than Pekarna's. I've been buying their meats for 50+ years and the quality is always the "best of the best". Don't take my word for it. Take a trip to Jordan and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed. more

The Best!!!!!! 1/7/2011

You can not go wrong. My sisters and I grew up on the ribs and bologna. Grandpa would drive us up from St. Paul and we would get crackers and eat a ring at the park before driving back. We now live in Florida and New Mexico and we have it shipped. It is mouth watering just thinking about it. more

Pekarna's is Awesome! 9/20/2010

Whenever we come into Jordan, we always load up on Pekarna's sausages. They have the best meats all around. The kids love Pekarna's, they always give samples and the staff is friendly. This German-style meat market is affordable and tasty! more

The Best Sausage Anywhere 12/23/2009

Our five children and now our grandchildren don't eat any wieners other than Pekarna's. All the rest are like eating compressed saw dust. Pekarna's are fresh, unique in flavor and always great. For that matter all of their suasages are the best you can find anywhere. They out-do the best European sausages. The family recipies have held up through all 65 years of my life. You can not go wrong at Pekarna meats. more

The BEST meat,sausage,cheese,frozen and fresh deli. MMMM you can't go wrong buying anything here. Steak tar tar, blood and liver sausage, pickles....oh yes and the best tasting beef, pork, chicken cuts/slabs. No comparison more

Best in the region, in my opinion 1/26/2009

My father worked there while growing up and we still make sure to stop in and place an order, visit and do some "tasting" whenever we are in town. I live in North Carolina and my parents in Virginia, so getting some Pekarna meats is a real treat! Trust me, once you go here for your Summer Sausage, Ring Bologna, Weiners (hotdogs), Pork Sausage, etc., you won't want to go anywhere else. Family run and operated and a great group of people. more

Great Cuts, Terrific Service 4/11/2006

Pekarna's Meat Market is an old fashioned, small town meat market. Family owned and family run, expect a story if you ask a question. Great pre-cut meat, and if you don't see what you want in the display case, ask, they can probably get you what you want. They process deer in the fall for hunters. They also have cases of frozen foods. When they are smoking meat the entire street smells amazing. Be sure to try a sample of bologna! more
