Body Werks helped repair my car after someone damaged it while my car was parked. They worked with my insurance company to minimize hassle and had a computerized system which automatically generated a formatted quote for me to submit to get approval.
They went out of their way to do excellent work and make it easy for me to work with my insurance. When I later returned for a claim I wasn't going to file through insurance, they did their best to minimize price without sacrificing quality.

Chicken and Spice is possibly the best fried chicken you can get in Joliet, if not the US.
Chicken-N-Spice is well known for their famous Chicken Chunks -- baseball sized chunks of chicken breaded in slightly spicy batter. They're addicting, so be prepared and learn the route, since you'll be back.
Also something unique is they offer a soda simply called "Red" -- it's a cherry soda that goes very well with your wonderful chicken!

Paul O'Brien has a gift for accounting. I have never delt with an accountant who excells quite as much with finding deductions! He's saved me thousands over the years by letting me know what I may have missed, or not thought of.
Not only that, he doesn't mind spending time talking to determine what you need, what your future needs will be, and what could potentially save you money by doing (for example, a small business might need to incorporate).

Korst is a contactor who does wonderful work with cabinets. He offered a reasonable price and did a great job -- they look fantastic.
However, we literally had to hunt him down, find him, and make him finish our caibnets! After a few weeks he just kept procrastinating finishing up.
When he finally did, though, they look great. If you don't want a hassle, you might be able to find someone better.

I don't know much about bikes, I just knew I needed one. I went to Sunbaum at the recommendation of a friend who knew a bit more about bikes.
I went in and the staff was very polite and attentive. They knew what questions to ask in order to get the answers they needed to recommend a bike I'd love.
They gave me a few options and I must say I'm incredibly happy with my choice! They even recommended some great accessories and locks to keep my bike safe.

I needed to send flowers to my mother in the hospital, so I stopped by Flowers By Julie because it was nearby. Fortunately, I found one of the best florists in Joliet!
I didn't really know what I should get, so they helped me pick out a beautiful arangement. The price was about half what my brother paid, and my flowers were deemed best.
I've been so happy with Flowers By Julie I've never used anywhere else for getting flowers shipped locally.

I chose Designs By Diedrich to deliver a couple dozen flowers to my mother for Mother's Day. I was promised delivery on Mother's Day, and for a reasonable sized set I paid a lot... so I expected good quality and on-time delivery.
Unfortunately, not only did the flowers arrive two days late, they were terrible. They looked beaten up, old, and about to die. The delivery person arrived smoking a cigarette and blew the smoke into my mom's face.
Talk about pathetic -- I'll never do business with them again.

I tried to buy carpet from Bailey's a while ago when remodeling a room. The first thing upon entering in a salesperson hovered over me and started trying to sell me carpet. Not find out what I needed, mind you, but sell me whatever it was they thought I may need (despite that they asked me no questions about what I need).
I don't like being told what I want, so I left. The attitude these people have made me so mad that I will never go back. Try somewhere else if you want a good experience.
