Casa Dante is by far the best Italian restaurant in Jersey City if not in all of New Jersey period. The food is the best quality/quantity you can expect. The elegant atmosphere and friendly/professional staff makes this place extra special?. This is what fine dinning is all about. I look forward to my once a week date night with my husband since its Casa Dante we almost always end up going to!
Pros: They have Valet Parking

i love going to komegashi too!! the people there are so nice. the hostesses are so helpful and sweet. i go probably at least two times a week and i always feel so welcomed.. lately i've only had time to do delivery, but all the girls are so helpful and give great suggestions. i try my best to avoid doing delivery because delivery takes soooo long. whenever i did delivered, the hostesses were always so pleasant to talk to, reassured me the correct time and told me exactly when the delivery man left. whenever i sat at the bar the lady that use to work there was so rude. maybe because i was a girl and i didnt tell her how great she looked? whenever i dined in i love the sushi guys, they are so much fun.. the food always comes out in a decent time.. and the management is great! whoever the manager is that night always walks and makes sure everything is going well. i love eatting there, i definitely feel that people know how to make their customers happy!

The English idiom "put the pedal to the metal", is used to describe the act of exerting maximum effort. I couldn't think of a more appropriate description for the work Antheia did on my colleague's Birthday arrangement - a gorgeous combination of peach Calla Lilies, pink Casablancas, blush-colored Roses and a variety of seasonal foliage. I wanted something custom, as opposed to generic, and it seemed as though area florists were peddling the same lackluster FTD bouquets in wholesale vases. Some were even more expensive than what I'd purchased, which I found to be absolutely ridiculous. Antheia is exceptional! There's no better way to describe their work. By far the best florist in all of Jersey City while giving some boutique shops in Manhattan a run for their money. As one of the Graces in Greek mythology, Antheia was known as the goddess of flowers. She would be proud.
Pros: Customer service, healthy flowers, reasonable prices

Hands down the best brunch experience I have had... from the warm, neighborhood atmosphere to the astounding menu (how they replaced their steak frites with a breakfast steak even better is beyond me) to the staff, attentive and dutiful even in the midst of the mid-morning hustle and bustle. SPICY bloody Mary's, an extensive imported beer list or the rich and lovely Belgian Hot Chocolate... the beverages are even beyond perfect.
P.S. Try the French Toast: a butter-and-syrup drenched croissant.
Pros: excellent food, beer, staff and atmosphere

We travel across state lines on a regular basis to experience the joy that is Rasoi Indian Cuisine. Having tried several other indian restaurants in the area, we can say with confidence that Rasoi is the best - hands down - of any we've tried. Many reviews talk about lousy service, however we do take out which is fast and easy and we've never had a disappointing dish. They will make the food to your comfort level of spiciness, which is a big plus, and have a great variety of vegetarian (and meat) dishes. Our personal favorites: the malai kofta, baighan bartha, and saag paneer and don't forget some garlic naan as well. Well worth the hour drive for us - we can't recommend Rasoi highly enough and our mouths water at the very thought of it. Enjoy

No seriously. The owner is related to Mamoun's in the village (NYC). He worked there before he opened his own here in Jersey City. Personally, I like Ibby's better than Mamoun's.
Tiny little place, (really, seating capacity is like 8 people). However, there is standing room for the hordes of people that want to "pick-up and go" with their tasty little falafels. I have the number on my phone so I can call in my order.
A wide variety of middle-eastern dishes, and the baklava is divine.
The place is usually really crowded during lunch-time, but the taste is consistent and it's oh-so-cheap! Which is good, because I can never be satisfied with one.
Great choice for when you don't want to cook. Great stop before you head out on a Fri/Sat night on the town.

Raja Rahula is the best Ob/Gyn in Hudson County and has been for nearly 30 years. I have worked with him, called him my friend and named my eldest son after him. He is also a Clinical Professor of
Obstetrics and Gynecology at, I believe, NYU Medical School.

With so much choice in NYC why would you bother going to Jersey! Gotta say this place is a winner and well worth the short trip to Jersey City. I've done the rounds at all the good tapas restaurants in Manhattan and most of the dishes you find here you won't find anywhere else. Unique Latin American flavors you won't ever forget. Wine list is excellent (you'll understand when you walk into the restaurant)! Actualy I think just the wine list is worth going for. The set-up is great: open kitchen that makes it nice and casual and service is top notch. Big open area to peruse wines at your leisure and pick a bottle or 2 on your way out. Great touch
Pros: Top wine list, top food
Cons: Bigger location required
