Central Dairy opened back when the milk was hauled in by the horse drawn wagon, and it was quality then, and quality now. One of the few milk delivery businesses still going in the entire country, they also have the best pre-packaged ice cream in town, and questionably in the state. Try the Moose Tracks, or the Tiger (after the Mizzou Tigers) tracks, or one of their other specialty flavors. You'll come away knowing why they are listed as one of Jefferson City's must visit places.

Madison's Cafe is the best of the best for Italian cuisine in the booming metropolis of Jefferson City! Weather you call it in and carry it home ( or to work ) or if you go in and spend an hour in the charming yet family friendly dining area or outside seating area you are sure to leave full and feel right at home. This is a great place to take your family for a family of 11 out for a birthday dinner or a date of 2 hoping for some private time and a romantic atmosphere! Personal recommendation are the Stuffed Mushrooms and the House Salad. I have NEVER tasted a salad dressing as good as the one served with their salads! Not only is the food awesome they consistently run buy one get one free coupons in the paper, making it even more affordable than it currently is! Four stars all around!

LaBamba has great food and service. Good for the whole family to come and enjoy. They have expanded their menu. My wife loves their soup -- Who knew to get soup at a Mexican restaurant? I love the tacos carne asada. The service is fast.

I love this hotel! It is beautiful, well kept, and convenient to the Capital, downtown and all the museums (except the Veternarian Museum.) The breakfast buffet is unbelievable, the best I've ever been to. I've been to a few dinners and special events here and the staff was extremely professional and the setting wonderful. The rooms are also beautiful and clean.

Whether we've got the kids or a the night out to ourselves, we love coming here. The food is amazing! The margaritas totally rock! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We've actually gotten to be good friends with them over the years.

This is a formal type dining, very relaxing, great food. Kinda pricey but as expected at this type of resteraunt. Family owned, I personally enjoy the Tortallini. It is my fav I get it everytime I go. My husband likes the Arcoburger the best (at lunch) which they don't offer lunch anymore but he still asks for it and they give it to him! Great service, great food.
PROS: Great food, and service
CONS: steaks somewhat expensive but completely expected

I will not eat chinese anywhere else!!! This is the best place, they are very fast at lunch or anytime. I especially love thier crab ragoons!!!! They are the best in town! This place is great. They serve hot tea in little glass cups my kids absolutly enjoy this!!! The food is great!!!
