Who knew you could love an auto repair shop this much? My husband and I have been bringing our two vehicles to Morrison's for the past four years. Here are just a few reasons why we've been so pleased:
1. They always finish the work the day we drop the vehicle off
2. They provide free oil changes!
3. They are efficient and organized: for example, keep track of everything they've done and what needs to be done to your vehicle in their computer system.
4. They know us by name. A sad testimony to the condition of our vehicles perhaps, but I like to think that it has more to do with the fact that it is a friendly, family-run business.
5. They explain everything to you in layman's terms without making you feel like you're dumb--no matter where you lie in the spectrum of automotive knowledge.
6. They "talk shop" with my three year old son, supporting his single-minded obssession with cars.

Video Underground is a great little shop in the Hyde Square area of Jamaica Plain. While it is a rather small store, they have a really impressive array of video and dvds to rent. The focus is on indy and foreign films, although they do occasionally get new releases.
The staff is amazing; they really know their stuff. I have never gone wrong with a staff recommendation. They are very knowledgeable about movie, and if they don’t have the answer you need, a collection of books on movies should be able to help you.
They have a frequent renters card, as well as specials (rent 1, get 1 free). Their rental prices are good, and the best part is they have access to movies that are REALLY hard to find sometimes. It’s just a fantastic place to get your movie rentals.

This place is awesome for fostering and the people here really love animals. They treat people just as well as animals and are grateful to those who choose to help out. I have fostered kittens from here in some cases for months. You can have animals from weeks to months. This is a great place to adopt kittens and puppies and, they care for their animals. If are thinking about fostering or adopting this is the place for you.

The Arboretum is exactly what you need. It is filled with happy people and happy dogs and beautiful well cared for grounds and gardens. Perfect place for a nice little day trip stroll and a pinic lunch.

The Stony Brook Cookie Company's cookies are just amazing. I had received them originally as a gift and the package was beautiful and to my pleasant surprise were the best homemade cookies that I still have ever had. They couldn't have been more fresh (unless they were still warm out of the oven). Subsequently, I order a gift package from them. They were pleasant to deal with, and the package was delivered the same day. Apparently, shipments (baked to order) to areas out of Boston are done the next day but they hand deliver packages within the Boston area. The gourmet cookies came in four different flavors are labeled as of all-natural ingredients. My particular package also included gourmet tea and coffee. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! FIVE STAR!!!
