The owner is this old guy with a mustache with the most nastiest attitude ever. OMG... please don't waste your time their you'll be in such a bad mood you wont even enjoy your food. Don't get me wrong great pizza horrible service. Pros: Really Good Pizza Cons: EXTREMELY rude owner and staff

Definitely the best pizza in the area. Pepperoni pies come LOADED and pizza is always cooked perfectly. I no longer live in the area but I always make sure to pop by when I'm in JP to grab a slice.

Probably the best option for pizza delivery in JP (one time I got drunk and really wanted Papa John's because I was listening to the Eugene Mirman sketch about abortions and pizza and neither the Papa John's in Roxbury Crossing or Forest Hills would deliver to JP which is pretty much the biggest WTF of all time). I am a dirty dirty vegetarian, and HERE IS MY WARNING: Same Old Place does not know what to do with vegetarians. Once I was feeling fancy and asked them to put eggplant, garlic and mushrooms on the pizza, and when it came the eggplant ruled ass but the garlic and mushrooms had clearly been shoveled out of some jars. I DO NOT HOLD THIS AGAINST THEM because the basic pizza components are frigging great and who cares, load a bunch of extra cheese on, every neighborhood needs a pizza place run by burly guys who do not give a single frig about your organic arugula or smoked maple bacon macaron or snap peas. Pizza made by uncles I guess I mean.

The owner treats customers and his staff so rudely. He acts like he is doing you a favor by allowing you to buy pizza from him. Pros: none Cons: rude owner, staff rude to one another

As to rude service, yeah I've watched the owner be rude to folks on more than one occasion (not letting a Mom have a cup of tap water for her child was the worst...she had to buy a bottled water), the worst though is the way that he talks to his sister/wife (not sure who she is). But really he's the only problem, everyone else is VERY VERY sweet....and actually once the owner begins to recognize you he can actually be be quite charming too! Pros: FANTASTIC PIZZA Cons: Don't ask for tap water...lol

I was thrilled to find this place. I'm from NJ/NY and was disappointed that the pizza around Boston tasted no better than some cardboard with sweet sauce on it. It's a pizzeria, I'm not looking for someone to kiss up to me, I want some real pizza that is a good-sized parlor slice. They've never been rude to me and my pizza is always nice and hot. We've had it delivered and always enjoyed it. I would proudly bring my Italian relatives from NY here for a slice of pie.

An hour and 40 minutes after we ordered, the delivery guy finally arrived, and became belligerent when I turned away the cold pizza. There are too many good pizza places in Boston; don't waste your time with these bozos. Pros: none Cons: rude, slow, belligerent
