I had looked at a couple of other gyms in the area, but I work all around town, and Baileys was the only place that was where I needed to be. the staff doesn't attack you when you visit, but they are there when you need them and the facilities and equipment are first rate. Pros: helpful staff, good equipment, great hours Cons: I don't look as good as I could........yet!

Baileys Gym, Might not want to here what I have to say but I made the Gyms like Baymedows and all the counters and tile designs for years with so called last man out job security and after 4 yr's I have tire tracks up and down my back and will most likely loose it all. More to come. Rating refects insults from an owner not staff.

Make sure to read your contract carefully. Of course they do not tell you everything you need to know. My contract was for 9 mos and I thought it would terminate at the end of that time period, however, after being charged an additional month I called to inquire about the charge. I was told that my contract had began to run month to month and that I would also have to provide 30 days notice before cancelling. Therefore I was charged an additonal 3 months without my consent. Furthermore, you cannot provide notice of cancellation over the phone, but must go tot he gym or mail in a letter of cancellation. Needless to say, it has been the worst gym experience in my life. I prefer Gold'S Gym- execellent facilities and excellent customer service.

After being a member for more than ten years, I can honestly say that Bailey's is the best gym. I've been to gyms in Houston, Chicago, and San Diego, but I like Bailey's best. I can see where my membership dues are going (New equipment, new locations), and if something breaks, it's repaired very quickly. It's not expensive, and the staff is super-friendly to me - most knowing me by name. Bailey's may not be for everyone, but if you give it an honest try, I'm sure you'll like it. It's a fun place to be! Pros: Selection and newness of equipment, clean, great staff Cons: The only thing they don't have is towels, but I can bring my own from home.
