Dr. Thomas answers all my questions, examines my furbabies carefully and thoroughly, and shares anecdotal stories about her pets. I hate that my cats are so stressed by the unruly dogs in the waiting rooms, but it's not the vet's fault that people don't train their dogs. Anyway, Dr. Thomas factors in cost when treating pets, and she even waived the emergency fee when my Baby was so sick and my (now previous) vet wouldn't take her in an emergency. When I email with a question, I always gets a phone call with a complete answer, and I even got a follow-up call on my little cat when we had to take him to the emergency vet on a Saturday for an eye infection. I expect the other vets in the office are equivalent to Dr. Thomas, but I have only seen her for my pets, and I would take any pet there and feel reassured upon leaving that they received the best care. more

Dr. Padgett is the greatest vet and very supportive when losing your beloved pet. While we were travelling, our dog was sick and taken to a local vet who prescribed meds, did no blood work, our dog was throwing up and not eating or drinking. On a return visit it was stated he was doing much better. Three days later he was gone. We had an appt. with Dr. Padgett that afternoon, but unfortunately he didn't make it. In my heart I know that Dr. Padgett would of saved our beloved pet. We have been doing so much travelling over the past yr and our pets were in good hands, but they were unable to get to Jacskonville for care. We are now back and home, and you can bet that my pets will return to Dr. Padgett and stay there. So to all of you, if you want the BEST CARE for your PETS, Dr. Padgett is the VET you need. We all love you Dr. Padgett. Gloria, Rosie, Maggie, Jasper, Patches, CeCe and all those that are no longer with us. more
