Worst

I went to have a few skintags removed. They are not normally covered by insurance anymore and the doctor normally charges $150.00 (self pay) to remove up to 10 or so - no biopsy ...

Beware of overcharge 4/3/2014

I went to have a few skintags removed. They are not normally covered by insurance anymore and the doctor normally charges $150.00 (self pay) to remove up to 10 or so - no biopsy or path done) When they told me this I told them that Florida Blue said they would cover removal since it was "in an irratation spot". Took 5 minutes to remove two. On the way out they told me the cost about $200 according to insurance. Asked me how I wanted to pay. I told them to bill insurance since I had an HRA. They billed for that and biopsy and path. $600 my charge. They are refusing to take off the path – which they would not have done if I had paid cash…. Nor did they tell me about doing it.. more

Dr. Mahoney North Florida Dermatology 9/9/2006

If you are looking for a wonderful and sensational doctor who cares as much as he does with his patients as his own family then Dr. Mahoney is the dermatologist you want to see. I have been a patient of Dr. Mahnoey's for almost 2 years now and I wouldnt trade him as my doctor for no one. His respect, kindness and compassion of caring for his patients truly makes him an asset to North Florida Dermatolgy. more

A great Dermatologist for teens 8/6/2005

My son recently completed a year of treatment as a patient of Mr. Mahoney at North Florida Dermatologists. Each and every visit was great. Mr. Mahoney really knows how to relate on a teen level. My son's skin is beautiful now and no longer does he suffer from the stigma of acne. The Riverside office is slight on parking, but they never seem to overbook appointments, so the waits are minimal and they never rush to get you through. more
