I looove IHOP! You can't beat the Rooti Tooti Fresh N' Fruity. The griddle cakes are exceptionally fluffy and lite. This is about the only place I can go and eat everything on my plate. The only thing is their meat is all pork. I wish they had a substitute for the pork but other than that....I love this place =)~
Pros: affordable, plenty variety, finger lickin good!
Cons: you're stuffed!, only pork, really cold inside

Located in Little India in Jackson Heights, this grocery store carries a good variety of fresh vegetables with the selection tailored towards Indian cooking needs. They also carry Indian grocery items such as wheat flour, snacks, mango juice, talcum powder, hair oil, etc. There are plenty of cashiers, so lines move quickly. It is a bit dirty but it's not unsanitary.

Located in Little India in Jackson Heights, this grocery store carries a good variety of fresh vegetables with the selection tailored towards Indian cooking needs. They also carry Indian grocery items such as wheat flour, snacks, fruit juices, milk, yogurt, Indian bread, etc. The staff is helpful but not everyone will be fluent in English.

My family and I go there when we are in the mood for a great chicken Lo mein, yellow rice and sausage cooked Spanish style & fried chicken. My girls love the fruit shakes! It all taste fresh! And the manager is the most friendly lady there is. We are there for the food nothing else! Highly recommended!
Pros: fast service
Cons: Not a fancy place

This Jahn's is one of the two remaining locations of this once big and famous chain throughout Brooklyn & Queens. The food isn't too bad, but nothing out of the ordinary for your average diner. But dessert? That's a different story. Jahn's has a huge list on the back of the menu of their own specialties. Most notably the 'Kitchen Sink' witch serves 8 people and contains 22 flavors. Other Jahn classics like 'The Tree' (which grows in Jahn's, not Brooklyn), 'Joe Sent Me', and 'Twosday' (two sundaes and a soda) are still served.
It has one other location in Richmond Hill, Queens which has a more old fashion atmosphere, but you can't go wrong at this place.
Take the 7 train to 82nd St ? Jackson Heights

Pollos Mario is now a must go place if you want to try colombian food. They have a pollo asado (grilled chicken) that is very juice and delicious. They also have "bandeja paisa" which is huge: you should share it with a friend.It is definitely 2 dishes in one. Service is not the best in the world but they are efficient. They will get you eating in less than 10 minutes. It is a great value. You get a lot of food for your money. About $10 per person.

Visited this place for the first time today. Tasty curry. Very good Tandoori shrimp. Good service. Tom Yum soup not very good.
Excellent food for the area. Not really a 'destination' point, but worth a stop if you're in the area.
Be sure to ask for it spicy! They make usually make the mild dishes for the Irish and Polish customers.
