If you want to really expierence the best in tradtional Columbian food or if you like a nice really thick and suculant steak try this place. Also they serve the best Sangria in NYC. In all of Jackson Heights this place is the best and it is Classey yet casual. The waitresses are real cute here and the srervice is great. The price is very reeasonable. Hey want to find out why people crowd to get in on Sunday evenings. It is well worth the wait. But if you go to the La Bonia Roja Steak House on a Tuesday or Wednesday you can just pop in. I recomend all their dishes. My personal favorite is the Pargo or Fried Snapper. Also their stakes are great too.

Pros: Great Food Great Prices Great Service Great Sangria

More
The pizza here is so good that our family comes here once every couple of weeks. And for only $6 per pie which can feed up to 2, its affordable. This place is known for the steaming hot cheese they use. Not the traditional large pie / slice pizza. Each mini-pie feeds up to 2. Good People, Good Food, Good Atmosphere. Parking is terrible around here so its best to come here after 7pm when the streets are clear.
Pros: uniqueness, taste, cheese they use
Cons: parking

After years of getting my wife breakfast in this place (Best arepas in NYC), we decided to try the lunch menu for once.; and we were not disappointed at all. Great food, nice portions, with a very typical Colombian taste. The prices were very modest, and the variety in the menu was great. They need to work on their servers. Not friendly at all, and they take their sweet time to come over, however, a great place to have lunch once in a while.
Pros: Food, prices
Cons: Parking, service

I always judge a good peruvian restaurant based on the dish 'aji de gallina', if they serve it, and this one definitly passes the test! They also have some other great typical dishes such as 'tacu tacu' and 'causas'. They also have some of the best 'tostones' I have ever eaten, even though they're not typically peruvian. Also try their 'Sangria', it's also really well done.

Four words- average Japanese American sushi. I've been to Japan so I know what I'm talking about. There are very few Japanese restaurants in this city that are decent. The ones that are cost an arm and a leg for dinner and they are the ones that give you quality ingredients. However, if you have a sushi fix and you're in the neighborhood, this one will satisfy to some extent. They make ordering easy with a picture menu. Don't expect to sit-in though. There are only 4 tables and they're squeezed into a tiny storefront.
