The Blue Lion is definitely one of the top restaurants in Wyoming. The food selection is dazzling and the wine selection is very good. While this restaurant is more pricey than others in the area, one has to pay for the incredible quality that this restaurant exhibits. I had a lovely meat dish with lemon sauce and capers (lots and lots of capers!). My friends also expounded greatly and positively about their delicious meals. We arrived just at the beginning of the evening (off-season) and there was quite a crowd when we finished our meals. Obviously, during the high summer days, reservations are most likely a must at this stellar institution of cuisine.
Pros: Great cuisine, great wine selection

This shop is fun! Of course, they have the traditional tourist stuff (t-shirts, mugs, hats etc), but it is much much more. When you walk in the store, you get a true sense of the west and the great outdoors. There are several life like animals scattered throughout the shop. They have many unique gifts.

The restaurant was pretty much a little log cabin, kinda charming. The food was excellent and included things like elk medalions and boar ravioli along with steaks and chicken. Everyone in our group of 5 loved it. I personally had the Filet Mignon, it was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent. The garlic potatoes, salad, and deserts were also all great.
Pros: Food, service, dessert.
Cons: None, everything was above average to perfect

Another must when in Jackson. This place is unique from top to bottom. From the silver dollar bar to the saddle bar seats. A very cool place to hang after a day on the slopes. I didn't eat there but they seem to do everything else right. Eat, drink, good bands, dance.

I really enjoyed the ambiance and decor of this place. The food was really fantastic and the service was friendly and attentive. Of course, there is a good selection of Mexican beers and a great menu selection. I was especially happy when the waitress brought me a plate of cheese enchiladas with a huge side of extra onions that I had requested (for some reason most places don't believe that customers who want extra onions really want extra onions!). Prices are fine and you'll push away from the table feeling very satisfied.
Pros: Good Mexican food, good service, great decor

The Alpine Slide at Snow King is a blast. It is only open in the summer and runs along the ski trail. You take the chair lift to the top of the slide. Your sled has brakes so you can go as fast or slow as you want. My kids love the slide If you are in Jackson during the summer, make sure you make your way to the Alpine slide.

We recently visited the little town of Jackson Hole, Wy and were looking for a quick bite to eat before the town shootout. We spotted Mountain High Pizza Pie and thought it looked like a good place to try. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was fresh and hot and very yummy. They decor was picture of all kind of snowsports like skiing and snowboarding. The bathrooms were actually on the outside of the building which was interesting to take all three of my kids into, but hey, not that big a deal. One of my kids accidently spilled her drink and they were right there to help out and get us a new cup. It was a cute little place and we'd definitely go again!
