Every time I have gone into this shop they have treated me so nicely and they have a great selection of shoes, boots, purses, wallets and some sporting clothes. The whole family is involved in this business and they always have shoes on sale outside the store.

Hein and company is basically a two story store dedicated to used books. True, there is a coffee shop located in the foyer, but it's almost an afterthought. They carry a wide selection of used books, and will pay cash or credit for books. They have a clearance/budget table every day. The staff claim to "know where every book is" which is no small feat. I haven't put that to the test, but they do know their stock. You can even get rarities, like the old Oz books by Baum. A lot of their stock is quite inexpensive, for the stuff that is still in print or not popular.

This place doesn't carry any of the cheap brands, they are quality only. They do a great job fixing your shoes that need repair. I had really expensive leather sandals that I needed repaired and they did a fantastic job in just a couple of days.

The Jackson Cat House isn't at all what you would think by the name. They carry all kinds of little statuaries and collectables.
On the weekend it's almost impossible to find parking so go during the week and shop to your heart's content.
