I'm not sure anyone enjoys going to the dentist, but everyone needs to go on occasion. I've been going to Dr. Cleavinger's office for almost a decade now and there's no place I'd rather go. She is family oriented, has wonderful customer service, and above all she is great at what she does. So if you're looking for a dentist in the greater Issaquah area Dr. Cleavinger would be the only dentist I would recommend.

When my two year old daughter took a header into a bed frame and knocked her front tooth loose we got lucky in finding Eastside Pediatric Dentists in Issaquah. I've never been a fan of dentists in general, but I'm hoping to instill trust in my kids for the dental process.
The first visit was a bit traumatic, but that wasn't too hard to foresee. Since it followed an injury a team effort was required to get my daughter's mouth open to look around, but even the efforts to open up were gentle.
The second and third visits were far less intrusive. Children are allowed to explore the tools and the chair and even see what other kids are having done in the open clinic.
There are hand puppets with monsterous sets of teeth that are used to demonstrate brushing and now my daughter is keen to dig out her toothbrush morning and night to be like the lion.
They work with Delta Dental so it's just the co-pay you need to worry about.

I found a great dentist!
Dr. Ron Sherman at First Impressions Dental in Issaquah is great! He's professional, up front with pricing, conservative and treats you great while in the chair (lavender neck warmer, warm blankets, dvds, etc.)
He wants to get things right. When a inlay of mine didn't work out to his satisfaction, we decided to make it a crown at no extra charge to me!
His waiting room is very comfortable (though I've never waited very long) with a fridge full of water and juice and plates of cookies to snack on. There are toys and videos for the kids.
The restroom has disposable toothbrushes in case you are just coming from lunch!
I've recommended many friends here--and oh, they have a great referral program--gift certificates to Bellevue Square every time you refer someone.
I have NEVER EVER liked a dentist so much. I am very picky.

I've only gone to him for cleanings so far but he seems really good. He is very hi-tech. The hygienist uses voice recognition to take notes on gumline depth and other notes. You get to watch cable TV as they clean! (they have some goggles you put on , and you can change channels with a remote in your hand). So far so good. I would recommend (he came recommended to my wife by another one of our friends).

We have been going to Pacific Dental for about 2-3 years now. They have very nice staff with a great office across the street from the Target/Safeway on Gilman Blvd. They do a very thorough examination of your teeth with very modern equipment. We also had found a coupon in those weekly coupon mailings in the mail, which offered new customers free tooth whitening, which was a $300 value. We are very happy with Pacific Dental and we recommend it to everyone that asks about dental care in the area.

Patients beware! Neda is very expensive, her front desk help are questionable about follow through, phone calls, etc. and she is unwilling to work with patients when there are billing issues. I wouldn't recommend going to see her unless you are hard up for a dentist.

In all honesty, this is a great dentist office. The staff are SO friendly, the hygenists are great, and Dr. Sherman is a really nice guy. The best part is that they really pay attention to what your insurance covers and try to spread out what needs to be done, so you have as little as possible out of pocket. They also have great incentives for referrals, so tell them I sent you!

My whole family (me, wife, 5 year old girl) have been going to Dr. Zent for 3 years. All of us have had good experiences every visit. The office is efficient and professional, the hygenists do a thorough job and Dr. Zent has earned our trust.
