The video games are old school and awesome- we're talking Asteroid, Ms Pac Man, etc. plus a couple of great pinball games when they work. The pizza, however, is what everyone comes for. I don't really know why it is so good, but it is. It's even better for breakfast the next day, if that's your thing. If you are from Seattle, it's worth crossing the bridge.

This is the most generously topped pizza I have ever had....ever. period. We stopped here after hiking Mt. Si, so appetites were raging - and we couldn't even finish half of our small pizza - the toppings are slathered on and will fill you up. We got half pesto and half CB - I'm not a fan of CB to begin with, but the pesto - my oh my, there must have been a pund of feta on that baby and loads of artichoke hearts and olives and yum yum yum - I will stop there everytime I am coming home from skiing, hiking, anything up I-90. Tehy have pizza by the slice from 11 - 3 and I will opt for that next time - no need for more.

Okay, it's not close. Flying Pie is about 25 minutes east of downtown Seattle. If you are like me, pizza, bread and the whole carb wagon are verboten. If you are going to splurge, make it worth your while and take the drive, totally worth it. Homemade crusts, rich sauces and tons of toppings. The best pizza I have ever had, in any city, in any state, ever, period.
