I watched that women help a customer that could offer her something. Reasonably courterous. I however had nothing of value for her, very different approach. I have suffered from MS and don't know how much longer I have. I wanted something quirky made (a gold crown) to leave behind for my daughter. A simple request and they would make a few dollars. I was treated w/tremendous disrespect and contempt. I still cannot concieve why. I think it's just their nature. It's of no use saying anything to them, they've been down this road many times before. When I told my wife about it she said, ' you didn't go to Naults did you?' Enough said.

This business was recommended to me by a good friend who has lived in the Issaquah area her entire life. She went to school with the Nault family and has always done jewelry business with them. My husband surprised me with a diamond for our anniversary five years ago and I took it to Nault to look for a setting. They were incredibly thorough and patient while I tried on EVERYTHING and looked through catalogs. I found the perfect new setting and they placed the diamond for me. Since that time, they have repaired and altered jewelry for me and shown me anything I want to try on- happily- even though I haven't purchased anything expensive in that time. I recently brought an older ring in to be altered and after at least two years of not stepping foot into the shop, they remembered my name! I will definitely continue to support this locally-owned family business.

The woman who greeted me appeared to be the owner, and what started off cordially enough, ended with the rudest, most arrogant & offensive response I’ve ever encountered. I had a legitimate comment & expressed it for the sake of my fiancé, who I believe, hasn’t ever had to have a piece of jewelry repaired. “He’s extremely concerned that he won’t get his ring back,” I said with a wink & a smile, fully expecting a professional response. I know reputable jewelers will explain & point out identifying marks on jewelry so that you are comfortable & can trust that your piece won’t ever get switched. This rude woman, however, chose to put on a defensive, haughty & ugly air, & told us she didn’t want our business. Yikes. Made me think that she’s been accused before & is not trustworthy.

I heard from some folks at work that Nault Jewelers was a good place to go for jewelry repair. I was a little concerned about the customer service after reading some reviews, but decided to go anyway.
The people in the store greated me very kindly, never talked down to me (eventhough the ring I was having repaired was the engagement ring I bought for my wife when I was 21 yrs old and had little money).
The repair was done faster than they had promised and the final price did not exceed the estimate.
I would definitely recommend Nault's to others in the future - just don't go in expecting to get something for nothing. You get what you pay for.

We used to go to Nault's, and have been treated nicely by Mr. Nault throughout the years. But the WOMEN have become increasingly RUDE and INSULTING in their remarks and comments. Sure they smile if you show them the money, but if you need time to consider a ring you might be wearing for decades, they have lost the ability to appreciate its' sentimental value. \r
\r
For instance, the daughter referred to my ring's value like that of a cheap used car driven off the lot. Is that what you think of jewelry ( like used cars?)?\r
\r
They both SCOWLED used guilt tactics when we didn't break the bank and buy what they wanted us to purchase. They seem to forget that most people ( us included) are on a budget and like to buy little items at a time throughout the year and are under no oblgation to buy everything during one shopping spree. \r
\r
Thus, WE WE HAVE LOST RESPECT FOR THEM, SINCE WE NOW KNOW THEY CARE MORE ABOUT OUR MONEY THAN THEY DO ABOUT US AS FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS. *If they didn't own the business and treated us this way in front of an independent owner they would have been fired on the spot. \r
\r
May they search their hearts and go back to being the friendly people we once knew.

I walked into the store to fix my watch. (remove links and put a new battery). The watch repair guy (maybe the owner too), started working on my watch. I was watching through the window and it took him 15 mins (no exageration) to put the battery. This is after the first spending 15 mins on the links. after like 30 mins he comes out to tell me there was some corrosion from the old watch, so another 10 mins to clean it up.. When all done, I was charged $49 for the links, battery and corrosion removal. I was surprised and told him this was too expensive. He said "No one ELSE can do it for this cheap" and he said He Guarantees it. I said, I am pretty sure Aubrey Watch does it for lot cheaper. ( that was the place i was planning to go to, I stopped by here because i was in that shopping complex). When I told him, if i go to Aubrey and get an estimate for the work this guy did, will he match it. he was reluctant but said "Ok if u get it in writing". So i went to Aubrey and they said its $12 for battery $12 for links but cleaning corrosion is FREE. I came back to Nault and showed them what Aubrey told me.. This guy goes "they didnt see what i cleaned" . I am like "its cleaning corrosion" do u charge $15 for that? Anyways..these guys are dishonorable and they charged me $49 for a $24 job. (he did give me back $6- the difference of 3 for batt and link). atleast he had that much honor after shamelessly lying (no one can match that price). When i was walking out the fat lady in the store goes "will u work for free"? I am like that WATCH SHOP charges 24 and you charge 48..that is not working for free ..its making more than you deserve. Then she goes "dont come to this store then". I said I wont come back to this shitty place and promised to write a review about this place and here we are. If i can atleast stop few customers from going to this place, then this review has done its job. NAULT = CHEATS.

I came in thinking it was a good place to get my ring repaired. Then the lady in front went on and on about how bad of a ring it was and that it was basically crap. It was in need of a repair and I had it done there since I was already there but after getting treated like s**t i wanted to slap the lady so bad! It didn't matter what she thought of the ring, she should be respectful of her customers. The ring had a lot of value to me, it has been in my family for a long time.
Come to the store if you don't see Godzilla in front! If the nice man is up there, I'm sure you would have a great experience because he is nice unlike that lady!

It is sad that Mr.Nault does good work however the woman in front treat me so badly. I have given them so many opportunities to make my visiting there store a positive one. It has been poor every time. It's like they aren't excited or passionate about their jewelery.
I had my rings rhodium plated. My wedding ring mind you. They had it OVER 1 week and when I called I was spoken to so poorly. I understand to them it's just another diamond ring. To me, its a lot more than that. I get treated so bad there and with a huge lack of respect.
