The pizzas are very tasty, with a lot of good ingredients. I wish there were a few more selections for the traditional flavors, but you can customize. The chicken parmegian was wonderful, although I'm certain it was not prepared on premises. Thechicken was a tad dry, but very delicioso. The house wine is fabulous and you get a really full glass for a very decent price. Worth the trip for a glass! The basic sauce can't be beat by any restaurant in Seattle, it's that good. Love the pizza dough. Calzones are HUGE and stuffed with goodies. No skimping here! Be prepared to take home half! Get brave, try one of the specials with seafood ingredients. You won't be disapointed. Staff friendly, but overworked during rush time.

Pros: Close, reasonably priced, lots of food, good tasting
Cons: some dishes are frozen, but it's all homemade

We found Amante off the beaten path, just off Gilman, and boy were we glad we did. After trying every other pizzaria around Issaquah, as well as a foray into the other "popular" Italian eateries, none of them have compared with the food we found at Amante.
The setting was remarkably small, and really casual, which made me wary... until I tasted the food. The delicious food made up for everything else that I might have had reservations about.
They have by far the best pizza in town, their menu is very extensive with a lot of traditional and favorite pasta preparations, the service is very friendly, and they have a menu board at the front with daily specials, which are usually something worthwhile and delicious.
Amante's Issaquah location is one of those places that makes it unnecessary to trek into downtown Seattle for good food.
Pros: Extensive menu, delicious food, best pizza in Issaquah
Cons: No significant cons worth mentioning.

I am ordering from them almost every day! I am truly in Love with there Pizza! If you are looking for a pizza in Issaquah you HAVE TO TRY AMANTE PIZZA AND PASTA! I red the last review and I am truly disappointed from the person wrote it. This is NOT TRUE AT ALL! The Amante's managers are really nice people, extremely dedicated to there store and work. I am using there website all the time and I HAVE NO PROBLEMS! Just a suggestion dear reviewer checks your email because you have to have conformation on the order that you send to them and most likely it is your wife??????s mistake.

We dine at Amante pizza and pasta every week. It is amazing! Truly authentic and the Amanters are passionate about what they do. Just a perfect way to have a nice family diner. Homemade TiraMisu is to die for - we served it at our wedding and the guests raved and raved. The dining is very cozy and inviting, the most romantic place in Issaquah area. I love everything on there menu. If you are craving for real Italian you Must visit them. They do deliver and it is free, you can place your order online or on the phone. They are just the perfect choice for pizza and pasta place.

I grew up in Issaquah, and I thought I knew every restaurant Issaquah had to offer, but I had never heard of Amante until about a week ago. Issaquah?s Amante is located in a cute European-style building on Locust Street , and is fairly well hidden from the heavy traffic cruising down Gilman Boulevard. The interior is small and cozy with only a dozen or so tables, but a courtyard also contains a couple more. On a quiet evening, my two friends and I were shown a spot by the window by our friendly server. The first thing that struck each of us was the extensive menu. Amante offers 17 salads; 30 pizzas; six calzones; 10 ?hot oven grinders? (such as turkey or roast beef entrees); nine hot sandwiches; 28 pastas; and 12 desserts. The menu even features a ?low-carb? section with six more entrees. Amante also allows guests to create their own pizzas and calzones by picking and choosing their own ingredients. Sizes for pizzas range from 10 inches to 18 inches. Entrees range from about $7 to close to $30 (mostly for the extra large pizzas). However, most entrees run between $9 and $15. . Everything on the menu looked quite delicious, and after coming to terms with the fact we could not possibly eat everything on the menu in one sitting, we made our selections. I order the chicken penne pasta. I received an entree of grilled chicken, artichoke hearts and garlic, all lathered in pesto sauce. The meal was beyond delicious and quite possibly some of the best Italian cuisine I?ve ever eaten. My friends ordered the four cheese baked spaghetti and ?Spartacus? pizza. I tried a bite of the spaghetti, which was rich and also very delicious. As somebody with an unhealthy obsession with cheese, I can confidently recommend the dish. The four cheese baked spaghetti and the chicken penne, were very generous servings. My friend found the pizza to be quite tasty. The restaurant also delivers, and guests can order food online.
For tasty Italian in Issaquah, look no further.
Pros: Free Delivery, Kids Friendly, Familly Dinning, Romantic Diner

We've only had the pizza here, and my husband and I split on how good it was. I thought it was VERY good, and he thought so-so. We both love Flying Pie and he thought FP was much better than this. My biggest complaint is the cost of the pizza. We ordered a 10", a 15", and a side salad (cheese, and pepperoni-mushroom). The take out bill was $42. Now I don't mind paying for good pizza (e.g. Flying Pie is a pricey pizza), but you should get more for your money. For the same cost, you'd get about 30% more pie from FP. The side salad was a caesar and the dressing was average. I'd like to try the pasta, as the reviews are very good but I'm not sure if I can get my husband to go again. Like I said, we did take-out, but the place IS really cute and the atmosphere is good. You wouldn't think there'd be a restaurant in the location it's in, but if you don't care about getting the most for your money it's worth a trip.
Pros: Great Food
Cons: Weird location and too expensive for what you get
