The Village Theater puts on five main stage productions a season. We have not yet been disappointed! They productions are very professional and entertaining. They are every bit as good as 5th Avenue Theater productions, but they are in a smaller venue, so there's not really a bad seat in the house! The Village Originals program is great too. They put on shows that are in the developmental process and the audience gets to submit feedback.

Okay, this is not a fancy movie theatre. It's not even easy to find. Hiding behind the Costco Headquarters, it has 9 movie screens. But it's a good neighborhood theatre with clean interior, comfortable seating, not-so-loud movie goers and rare long lines. I have always been able to watch the show at the time I wanted to see it. So bring your family here for a movie night out.

Mills music is more for band class instruments. I went in looking to see what kind of new guitar pedals and amps they'd have, and they really do not specialize in that kind of thing. They have piano's a few acoustic guitars, trumpets, trombone's, all of those instruments you'd find in a high school band. they also carry music books to learn songs some of them contemporary, like nirvana, pearl jam and other big name bands that you might not expect.

The Issaquah sportsman's club is not all that it sounds like.. Its an outdoor shooting range located up a dirt gravel road behind the high school, and you don't have to be a member to shoot there! Its a fairly well maintained range, with 100 and 50 yard rifle ranges, and 25 to 5 yard handgun ranges. You can shoot both for the price of admission, which i believe is 10 dollars. But bring cash as they don't take credit or debit cards. They also don't sell ammo there which is unfortunate but they do sell targets.. You may also want to bring your own spotting scope as they only have a couple and usually get taken up. My favorite range!

Kids love this place. The games, the excitement and the tickets! Got to admit, even for adults, some of those immediate pay off games can really suck you in as you find yourself dropping quarter after quarter in. The laser tag is also fun for the kids, but these extras are expensive. If you've got yourself an Entertainment Book, be sure and use the coupon for the arcade games because you will get at least double your money for one visit!

Gymnastics East is a good entry level gymnastics school for all ages, but I find it hard to believe it is effective for any adults. The teaching level seems good for kids, but too low for any serious adult. The instructors are okay, but the pricing is good. Gymnastics East is good if you want to learn gymnastics for fun.

Cougar Mountain Zoo is located in Issaquah. This is a very small zoo that seems to specialize in animals that you wouldn't normally see at a zoo. They have reindeer, which is really neat. I had never seen a reindeer in real life! They have a Christmas festival where kids can meet Santa and the reindeer, but we haven't done that (the parking lot seems small and I have parking anxiety). What I remember most is the beautiful parrots that they have at the zoo. The birds are out in the open and it's fun to be able to see them up close. Admission, the birthday parties and the gift shop all seem expensive so we don't go there very often. But we really enjoy it when we do.
