My son went here for three years, and we were very happy. Quality of instruction and individual attention was great, facility, teachers and materials were superb. Highly recommended. By far one of the best choices in the area

I was fortunate enough to get my daughter into this preschool. I looked everywhere on the Plateau, Redmond, and Issaquah and felt this was the perfect fit. My daughter improved so much in her social skills in just a few months. The teachers are absolutely amazing and create a nurturing, Bible-based learning environment. Unlike the Montessori schools we looked at, this school focuses more on personal and inter-personal growth.
I only wish they had more space to create more preschool classes! I highly recommend getting up early and waiting in line for registration.

Kindermusik is a great program and it's done well at the Musik Nest. The teachers are all great, the schedule offers a lot of options, and the kids love it! The classes offered go from newborn up to 7-year-olds. The children enjoy music and movement, while gaining important developmental skills. Fun! You also get to bring materials (including the CD used in the class) home to continue the fun at home.

We were invited to a birthday party at Little Chef Club and both my daughter and I had a fabulous time. We made a pizza, cupcakes, and a milkshake. It's so much more fun to cook w/ the little ones when it's not your own kitchen!
This place is really clean and the kids are taught the fundamentals of cooking. There are automatic faucets/soap dispensers right in the classroom so all the mini chefs can wash their hands.
There are also products such as mixing bowls, spoons, etc. that are easier for tiny hands to use. The class prices are pretty steep, in my opinion, but if your little one really loves cooking this would be a great place to try out.

If you want to learn how to do things they way they were done 100 or a few hundred years ago, this is the place. You can learn how to make soap or dandelion wine, how to prepare wild edibles, knap flint, build a fire, track animals, tan hides, etc. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to inspiring their students.

Birth and Beyond has lots of great goodies for the mommy-to-be lotions and the like. Once baby arrives they are a great resource for breast-feeding supplies. They have tons of nursing bras and equipment for my breast pump. If you are looking for a gift for a new baby they have that sort of thing too--from custom made bibs and slings to baby blankets and bedding. They also have an extensive wall of parenting/pregnancy related books. The staff is always helpful -- they have a parent perspective, I think I heard somewhere that they were all moms themselves. It is always nice to get advice and help from someone who had alredy been there and done that!

We put our son in this daycare for a few months because we couldn't get into the other ones at the time.
Like many other chain childcare places, the good thing about this place is it accepts a wide range of kids from infants to pre-schoolers. And it usually has more openings than others in the area.
But I guess there is a reason why it has openings. The place is not very clean. My son got sick quite a few times within the short couple of months. And it locates right next to a Motel 6, which I always think it's not the best safety feature.
Only send your kids here temporarily if you can't get into others!
