We were invited to a birthday party at Little Chef Club and both my daughter and I had a fabulous time. We made a pizza, cupcakes, and a milkshake. It's so much more fun to cook w/ the little ones when it's not your own kitchen! This place is really clean and the kids are taught the fundamentals of cooking. There are automatic faucets/soap dispensers right in the classroom so all the mini chefs can wash their hands. There are also products such as mixing bowls, spoons, etc. that are easier for tiny hands to use. The class prices are pretty steep, in my opinion, but if your little one really loves cooking this would be a great place to try out.

My child and her friend somewhat enjoyed the class, but I found the owner/instructor to be quite stiff with the children and down right rude in all her interactions with me. When the girls signed up for the class we were told that their initiation fee ($40) would include recipes for the classes they attend (including the introductory class which cost an additional $15). But when the girls asked for their recipes I was told I would have to pay an additional $15 for each copy since the introductory price does not include a copy of the recipe. For $35 we can stay home, choose our own recipes and have real fun in the kitchen!
