As a 15 year resident of Japan, I assure you that Isshin has the best Japanese food in the DFW Metroplex. Mr. Kishida, a native of Osaka Japan, is a great guy who constantly strives to bring the best dishes he can to his clientele. And with as many as five Japanese chefs (unheard of in Texas) on his staff, you can be assured that you are getting the real deal.
Kishida san's wife is from Vietnam, so you can also taste some great Vietnamese cuisine there as well.
The lunch buffet is about $13 but you can eat about $50 worth of food from the regular menu.

Very quiet and clean. I've only been there for lunch. Though the restaurant is not big, they have a very good selection of food. They have sushi, raw and cooked, a salad bar, with some Korean dishes too, and then tempura, as well as noodle soups.
The thing I like the most is their seaweed salad, it's got a hint of sesame oil and soy, refreshing and delicious. I also like their tempura and their cooked sushi since I don't eat raw fish.

The lunch buffet has better sushi than any other sushi place i've ever been to. The prices are very reasonable (for sushi at least). The dinner buffet is perfect. Where else can you get "all you can eat" from a menu instead of a line. Dinner buffet also includes stuff like Ramen (not the instant kind). Good place, good people, reasonable atmosphere, good food, good price.
