Buyers Beware! Had a deal worked out over the phone when I got there;had a different sales person and the process began again. The Sales MGR (Jim) said the rebate and trade-in
offers were exclusive of one another. I did not see that on the website. The original deal was made with both offers and verbally agreed to.They didn't have the color I wanted and offered
an SX model in Black. I checked the window stickers and they were close so I said check on it,
BIG MISTAKE - The let me talk with the Manager merry go round began! After the second time; I was fed up with THEM jerking me around and walked out! HORRIBLE BUYING EXPERIENCE FROM HELL!
Pros: Friendly
Cons: Too focused on sale and not customer

I was looking to trade in my car and thought that the deals at Central Kia looked good so I called and made an appointment and made the mistake of giving my phone number to the lady over the phone. What a mistake! I told her I would be in on Thursday and went on Thursday morning. I was met by a man and told him what I was looking to do and asked if he could help me being that my credit was not stellar. He said that he most likely could and had me test drive this 2007 Kia Sentra. It was a beautiful car fully deck out with all the ammenties ( and I had specifically told him what price range I was trying to stay in) and I admit it was a nice car. I said I liked the car and he ran my credit and told me that I would need a Co-signer in order to buy the car. Then he told me that that car was a $20,000 to $21000 car and I told him that whether or not I had a trade and whether my credit was good or bad there was no way I could afford a car like that. What really made me angry was that he had me drive a car HE KNEW was WAY out of MY price range because I told him what kind of car I wanted and what I could afford and was very specific about this and he made it sound like this would be a car that I could get into with reasonable payments (how many of you could get a $21000 or $22000 car and have to roll a $4500 trade-in and pay taxes and interest and still get payments at $300 a month or less my guess is most likely no-one because rolling a $4500 balnce now makes this $21000 car $25500 and a $22000 car $26500).
To top it all off after I left the dealership with my Ford Crown Victoria (which there is nothing wrong with except that it hogs gas) I got call, after call, after call from sales reps and sales managers saying that they had me on an approval list and over, and over again I went through the same spiell telling them about my trade and credit and my experience at the dea

I called to see if I could set anything up and the operator said if you are not coming in you are not worth our time and hung up. I went down there to see why that had happened and ran into Micheal Rodriquez at the dealership and he looked at me scoffed and said you better have a trade in or a good down payment. I was offended!!! i wanted the general manager and was told that he did not deal with the likes of me !!!! WHAT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY HORRIBLE I AM IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING A LEGAL SUIT WITH CENTRAL KIA!!

This is how finance managers at Central Kia of Irving treat you like a piece of dirt. Yes they treat you like you are a pest, and not the one who is going to part with several thousands of dollars and line their pockets with greenbacks. Customers are the ones who pay for their food on the table, and cloths on their backs.
I was buying car for my son. We agreed on a 60 months financing with credit life insurance, added to the price (about $350.00 value). It was September 23rd, 2007. On the 29th of September, 2007 we got a phone call from a finance manager that something did not work and we need to sign a new set of papers. My wife, who is carrying the financing, arranged the meeting with the finance manager the next day at 9AM - she was working that day and needed to expedite the process.
All paperwork was supposed to be ready for signing. She was told that the finance manager will be right with her. After 10 minutes she asked where he was, and the receptionist running her eyes on the ceiling was feeding her with some kind of lie again. On her insistence some other ??????finance manager showed up and told her that the guy who made a 9 AM appointment with her does not work till noon time, but he was ready to help her. My wife called me from the finance office asking for advice. I asked her for about the length of the contract - she confirmed with the financial manager 60 months, they dropped few points on financing, and I heard that the credit life is included in contract.
My wife signed papers - of course they did not give her any copies.
Three weeks later we got a copy of the contract only.
It has 72 months loan and instead of credit life insurance ($350 value) a WRAP extended warranty a $1208 add on.
WOW!!! What a rip-off.
To wrap it up: If you go to that dealership remember that you are dealing with bunch of thieves and lowest form of scum in the city - that p

We signed a contract and bought a car. One week later they called and asked us to come back and sign some additional papers. First story was it was the wrong bank. Second story was when I arrived I was told we werent approved at one interest rate and they jacked it up 3%. This is after we already signed a contract. If you buy from them, make sure they give you the copy when you leave. They are sweet as pie when your buying so its easy to trust them. Dont settle for We will mail it to you with your payment book. The yelling, the hostility, the showdown in the showroom, two finance guys slamming their fists on their desks at me in front of my 4 yr old child when I reached for my contract (they didnt want me to see what I originally signed) the Dir. of Finance yelling at me that I needed to know how to behave and asked where do I work and would I act like that up there (and he was the pig stealing $3500 from me)and finally...after calls to Corporate, other Kia Dealerships for advice and two Attorneys, despite attempts to get through to someone at the dealership who new what they were doing was illegal the matter was resolved. Prior to that and four days later from the initial call to come back and sign I was contacted by another scum in finance who said they would report the vehicle stolen if I didnt come back and sign. The next day I spoke with the GM and he resolved it and honored the orginal contract and apologized and couldnt believe I was threatened in that manner. Whatever. I love my car though and that was I stuck it out. I knew I had the contract and a legal case. Go to Southwest Kia Dallas or Moritz Kia Ft Worth. Worth the drive.

I love my Kia Sportage, but if I had it to do over again, I would never go to Central Kia in Irving, Texas!!! I had a $1000 rebate coming as part of the purchase incentive. Rather than deducting it from my final cost, I chose to have the check written to me. We'd just bought a house and the cash was more important. They told me they had never done that before, but it would probably take a month to process at their home office. That was fine, but a month later, they tried to tell me that I had rolled it into the loan. I informed them that I had not and could prove it. They backed off and said they'd check into it. I was told that the check had been cut and they would call me when it was delivered to their dealership. Another month went by and the contact person would no longer take my calls. I had to go to the dealership on a Saturday and raise my voice in the showroom before the guy would come out and deal with me. At that time, he finally decided that he would track down the check and would have it there on Monday. On Tuesday, we finally received the check when my husband had to leave work to pick it up at the dealership. What actually happened is the rebate check was received, but since most people add it to their loan, the dealership deposited all of them and forgot mine was supposed to be mailed to me. Then they had to tapdance with the home office to get another check cut. It was a total mess and they handled it in the worst way possible. If they would have just admitted the mistake and worked to fix it, I would have had a lot more patience. Honesty is the best policy and Central Kia of Irving FAILED MISERABLY!!! There is another Kia dealership in Fort Worth, and though I haven't been there, I would certainly choose them over Central Kia in Irving.
Cons: Dishonest and extremely poor customer service

I wouldn't recommend that my worst enemy buy a car from Central Kia. The sales people? Sweet as pie. Seriously. The finance department leaves so much to be desired that it isn't even funny. They attempted to change the price of the car that the Sales person and I had agreed upon. Paper was printed and I was about to sign when something just didn't add up...literally. They were attempting to jack me for an additional $3000. No way. If we hadn't needed the car right.that.moment, we would have walked away. After a small screaming match (yes, they actually yelled at me first!), we walked out with the car that we wanted, but a VERY bad taste in our mouths. Never, ever, ever again will be ever visit that place.
