Dr. Grasty and staff are great people. For someone to say her staff is Rude is a lie. My partner and I both have been seeing her since she has opened and we have sent several friends to her. And they all respond with I will never see anothre Doctor except Dr. Grasty. As far as her staff they are so far from being rude. They are caring and supportive in all they do. So whom ewver stated the staff was rude is a joke. She must of had a bad day. GO TO DR. GRASTY AND HER STAFF. YOU WILL NEVER GO ELSEWHERE.

Don't take one persons view. Please if you need a great Doctor go to her she is the greatest Doctor ever. Keep up the good work Doctor and Staff. My partner and I have referred many people to her and their responses after seeing her and talking with the staff they will never go elsewhere. Kelly

I have been going to Dr. Betty Grasty for about three years. I have never had any experience there that wasn't pleasant. The staff is always warm and friendly to me. I recently ran into one of her staff outside of the Doctor's office and she called me by name and asked me how I was doing. I have had to go to Dr. Grasty for a variety of health problems and she has accurately diagnosed me and treated the problems. She makes me feel as if I am the most important person she is seeing that day every appointment. Recently I had to have surgery and I wore her office out requesting specialist referrals. I went to see 5 specialists before I selected a surgeon. Her staff had to do the work with my insurance company because of the referral process. Never once did they complain while they helped me through a fairly lengthy process. I never have any trouble getting an appointment quickly. I highly recommend her as a primary care Doctor.

Dr. Grasty is a very good doctor. I have been going to her since 2003. My last visit to her was in 2005 and I haven't gone back because her staff (it changes constantly) is just RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. I thought to give her office a call to make an appt and called them yesteday (7/24*06) and today. Sad to say, the appointment scheduler is just the same - unhelpful, rude and her telephone mannerisms make me cringe. I ended up cancelling the appointment. I will change my primary doctor to someone else. It is sad that I like the doctor but cannot handle the interactions with her front office staff. Remember, they are the ones who you have most contact with re: appts, paperwork, insurance, etc. So beware! 10/9/06: Since this posting I received a phone call from Dr. Grasty apologizing for the issue. She specifically told me that I am one of her long time patient and is disappointed that I changed dr. because of her staff. She knows that I rarely complain about things and for this to happen it bothers her greatly. She promised to talk with her staff about it and will do "housekeeping" if they don't shape up. As I said in my previous posting - she is a good and caring doctor. Maybe her talk with her staff will change things...but it is worth it for you to find out....

What can I say? I hate going to the doctor normally, but I really don't mind as much since I found Dr. Grasty. She is VERY thorough, friendly, knowledgeable, and has a great bed side manner. I have been seeing her now for about 6 months and she has really helped me out. It is not just at the office either. I was recently admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery and she was there to make sure everything went well, and that I knew everything that was going on. I think one of the best things is when you go to see her, she treats you as the only person in the world once she is in the room with you. She doesn't just rush off - she makes sure everything is right first - really makes you feel important.
