No problem with employees, they're always fast and courteous. But the multiple times I've been in there, the owner has been a jerk. The latest time he opened the shop almost 20 minutes late, he never once apologized or acted like he even cared that people had been outside waiting. Guess he doesn't realize that a "sorry about that" will make things better. I only keep going there because it's close, and they do good work, but the owner is the worst.

i just moved here from florida and these young professionals took good care of my baby " 2006 orange saleen" they know all about my car and got me the paper work i needed to register my vehicle. Not only that but they let me drop off my cat on my lunch break and dropped me off at the office, they checked my breaks and couldve sold me a break job front and rear, however they showed me that i only needed the front done. then they picked me up from the office and when i got back i was surprised to find that my synthetic oil change front breaks and emissions testing all together cost was very low.. GREAT JOB GUYS KEEP IT UP.
Pros: very knowledgeable crew and staff, speedy and freindly

I went to this location for a few years, and they always treated me like crud. The manager/owner always acted like they didn't even want my business.
Every time I went the they tried to convince me I needed to get a bunch of unnecessary services done to my car, which I knew I did not need. Even when I had just had a service done elsewhere, the mechanic would come and tell me I needed the same thing done (i.e. coolant change; they always tell you your car is in desperate need). I went there because it was convenient, but I have decided to go elsewhere because they try to rip you off (if you didn't know much about cars you would never know) and treat you like crud even after years of loyal patronage.
Also, they always charged me $20 extra for an oil change because my BMW needed a "special" oil filter.
Pros: NONE
Cons: Rude, bad service

Took car for safety inspection. Charged $40 for inspection and $48 for wipers and a bulb. Said couldn't do inspection because computer was in reset mode. Told me to bring it back when engine light... More
Took car for safety inspection. Charged $40 for inspection and $48 for wipers and a bulb. Said couldn't do inspection because computer was in reset mode. Told me to bring it back when engine light comes on. Brought back week later with engine light on. Owner reset computer, said it probably the gas cap. Gas cap passed inspection first day. Bought new gas cap. Owner said would run diagnostic if it came back on. Engine light back on few days later. Said I have to pay for another inspection. Mechanic said leave car and would have to pay for at least half hour of labor diagnostic. 3 hours later owner calls. Says they can't do diagnostic work. Paid $89 and in same spot. Asked owner why he didn't tell me a week earlier they couldn't do required diagnostic if not gas cap. Asked why let car sit 3 hours for nothing. Answer was they were busy. Have to take car elsewhere and pay for inspection again. Kwik Kar wasted my time/money cause they don't pay attention to what they are doing/don't care about customer service. This is a franchise so the owner doesn't have to answer to anyone. When I got aggravated and asked why he handled it the way he did, got no explanation. Told customers in his waiting room hoped they were only getting oil changed. He got mad, stuck finger in my face/told me to leave. He was mad. I left. Don't let this happen to you. Only competent to do most minor things, don't keep records/get mad if you say something.

Made a mistake of not asking price of oil change beforehand. They charged $20 more than the other Kwik Kar locations [as well as any chain, such as Firestone, etc.]. They basically double-charged for oil -- both reg. and synthetic -- and the filter! The only explanation was "it's the owner"........
P.S. On the other hand, KwikKar willow bend - I would recommend: a nice facility.

I took my car to this shop a couple of weeks ago to have routine maintenance done. They flushed my transmission fluid and failed to replace the transmission fluid!!! I broke down on the Tollway in the pouring rain during morning rush hour!! I am now having to deal with their insurance company who are less than helpful. I have had to rent a car and pay for it out of my own pocket and we are being told that it could take up to a month before the insurance will decide if Kwik Kar caused the damage. Of course they caused the damage, they did not put the fluid back in the car and now they have washed their hands of the situation because it has been "sent to their insurance". In fact the insurance person suggested that I file it under my insurance and then wait to have them pay my insurance company--I DON'T think so...and have my insurance go up becasue Kwik Kar made the mistake. They are stalling, now I have to sit and wait for the insurance "expert" to go look at my car. I have been inconvenienced and they don't seem to care. I will NEVER take my car back there and suggest that you do the same!!

Please, please, please....look elsewhere for honest, reliable, knowledgeable car repair!
I took my car to Valley Ranch Kwik Car to have the air conditioning looked at. They recharged it with freon. It worked for a month. They had stated there "was no leak". However, in a month's time, the air conditioning was not working again. I took it back. They replaced the dryer unit and another part in the system, again recharging it with freon. It worked for a month. When the air did not work a third time, I took it to a dealership in Grapevine. They did a diagnostic test, found a leak, and repaired it for good in 1 day. Kwik Kar had my vehicle for 3 days and had to call in an "expert" because they could not figure out the problem. Well, they solved the wrong problem. However, I cannot prove so. They told me "well, it worked for a month. who is to say that the leak was a whole new issue, not the same issue?" I don't know much about cars, but I know a cover up when I see one! Yes, they guarantee their services. But why would I take it back to a place to fix the problem when they couldn't figure it out the first time? In THREE days plus and EXPERT called in?? Yes, I lost my $500 in services. But, I found a reliable dealership who knew what they were doing...simple as that. Kwik Kar would not honor my money back. Please...trust me on this...go elsewhere!! No one should have to tolerate bad business.

Cons: car maintainance crew is not knowledgeable, owner would not admit to any wrong-doing to help solve the issue at hand
