They have a huge selection of books that constantly change as people exchange out old for new. I've found some great deals here on books that I was really surprised to even find. I am an avid reader and if I like a book will read it over and over as I cycle through my collection - but there are many titles that I haven't been able to find... some of which I remember reading from 20 or 30 years ago. Thats what I really like about this store - I've found many of those old titles that I thought were gone forever! They will take most any book or magazine that you have and give you money for it as well - not just store credit. The prices they give are mostly fair as long as you keep in mind they have to turn a profit on what you are turning in and the fact that the books they sell aren't marked up very much!

I use to take my 7, 5, and 4 year olds to the library to get books or to just hang out and read but they always got so squirmy becuase they had to be quiet and you know kids, if you say "be quiet here please, they'll want to do the opposite. SO now I take them to half price bookstore--we spend about an hour there just in the kid section looking at books and the kids just like to sit and read quietly. They pick out a few books they want and read about them..then we usually end up getting a few books--which are not very expensive at all. The kids can still talk quietly but they don't feel as restrained.

They have a nice selection on books and cds. you ca both buy and sell your books here. rates here are very reasonable here. They have a nice selection of books on all the subjects. It is located near the irving mall and target , you can do other work along with book shopping.

Not only will this place give you cash for your old magazines, books, or records, they have an incredible selection of everything you could possibly imagine! This is THE place for great used books, Cd's, magazines, and little card gifts. I go here every other week to trade in old stuff I have and buy new stuff. It's a great thing.
