Waters, right on the Woodbridge Lake, is a nice restaurant with excellent food. Because of its location, Waters may seem like one of those 5-star dining overpriced restaurants, but it really isn't. The prices are moderate and worth every penny. I have ordered the Seafood Jambalya, which I actually have ordered a couple times...one of my favorites! Their service is wonderful, and the food is pretty quick. I recommend the Chocolate Souffle for dessert! I suggest to bring a warm jacket if you choose to sit outside b/c it is pretty chilly by the lake!

This place is a great place to take a date or celebrate and anniversary or some type of special occasion. You can sit by the view of the water, or just plan to take a walk around the lake afterward. Their is a huge fish tank inside the restaurant that could keep you quite entertained during the evening. They have a very nice bar as well. The service is really good and their sourdough bread and clam chowder is to die for. You will never taste it anywhere that good.

Waters is a beautiful place to take a date, or go to for an anniversary. It is an amazing place with a beautiful view. If you do not order much from this place, you have to order the clam chowder. I have never had clam chowder this good, not even in San Francisco. The service is very good and the people within the restaurant are very polite. After you are done with the dinner, it is nice to take a walk on the (man-made) lake. It is a beautiful romantic walk that a couple on a date or celebrating an anniversary may want to take. The only thing is it may be cold, so bundle up.

We found this restaurant to be overwhelmingly perfect. We drove by one day and stopped for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised that such a good restaurant was right in our backyard. The food was outstanding and the employees very friendly and helpful. The seafood dishes were wonderful. Then we noticed a wedding going on, and peered into the reception area. What a beautiful location for someone's special day! When our niece was getting married, she chose this location and the wedding was beyond wonderful. Everything was done to perfection. Highly recommend for anything from a nice romantic dinner to a lavish wedding.

This restaurant is located on a lake so try to get a view. The food quality is excellent and taste great. Price is on average $22 per dish but it is worth it. Soup is good too. After the meal, you can walk around the lake and if you do leave in the community you have the privilege of using the lake. Not a bad place for a date. Friendly staff. THey also have event room. I ddin't try the wine but they look good too.

This is a fancy restaurant that is on a man made lake in Irvine. The lights are dim and they have an amazing aquarium inside the restaurant. The bread is very delicious. But if you order nothing else, you must, I say MUST order the clam chowder. The clam chowder is out of this world. I have never tasted anything so heavenly. All of their food was very good, but nothing to rave about like the clam chowder. This could be a good place for a first date, but a little expensive. So if you don't really have the cash, then maybe make it for a special occasion.
