They have some good martinis at this fine establisment. A little pricey but it is an expensive restaurant in the OC.

the price was too much for what I was served. i had a seafood plate but too salty, had to take home and add some pasta to adjust. Although, the crab cakes were good.
I'm not returning too soon. Salty is not only untasty, it's unhealthy too. Please take the food before sending them out!
Pros: nice decor
Cons: food too salty, wait time for food is long

Just where do you have to go and how much money do you have to spend to get decent service? Not here, that's for sure. Sat & waited over 5 minutes for any attention after being seated while the many hostesses clucked away at the desk. Our server, Katy, gave us her best fake smile and her worst effort at service. Food wasn't that great. The ambiance is nice, but I wouldn't go back. Someone give me the name of a great restaurant with great food and attentive service in Orange County!
Pros: location/ambiance
Cons: service

Californians have a creative love of seafood that differs from anywhere else in the world. On the east cost they find the best seafood and serve it with a side of butter and a bib--here we find the best and make it better with creative seasonings and sauces ranging from savory to fruity.
This creative "fusion" style of preparing seafood is perfected at Opah. Even the butter that comes with the bread is heavily (and deliciously) seasoned with herbs. Their lunch menu is reasonably priced and delicious, but dinner is worth every penny.
Be careful with the outdoor seating--if you end up in between the fountain and a chatty table you may not be able to hear the person sitting across from you. Other than that the ambiance is as awesome as the menu!

So I think this restaurant is really cool looking ... clean, modern, and artistic ... it is in the tustin marketplace but slightly hidden, which adds to it's ambience ... the specilaty drinks are fabulous but wayy overpriced ... your looking at a $10 martini or $7 beer ... the food is actually a bit basic but presented in a stunning manner and it is also expectedly overpriced ... the yuppy vibe in this place is overwhelming ... especially since it's right next to a brew restaurant where you can clearly see the different crowds of people ... a great date spot for older (richer) couples ....

Opah's biggest drawback is its location in the middle of a shopping center parking. It generally detracts from its ability to be a great date spot. [Note this review is written about the Aliso Creek location]
