I barely went to Spectrum before the new construction and store openings. Back in middle school my friends and I would only go to see a movie, and the only stores I shopped at there were Urban Outfitters and Windsor. Now, there are a million store openings. When I visited there a few months ago when they just opened a lot of new store, I--surprisingly--got lost!! The place is HUGE and like everyone said, very CROWDED. I sort of miss the time when it was not as crowded. Now there's a Target, Old Navy, Nordstrom, and many little shops that sell just about the same clothes. The Nordstrom there is very small compared to the one at South Coast, but the Target is pretty big. The only things I'm bother by at Spectrum now are the crowds and that it's just too big now.

Living in Irvine has given me a chance to go to Irvine spectrum a few times. One of the most prominent things that you notice about it is that it is outside. Walking through on a beautiful warm night is really romantic. More importantly, there is a large theater, and many restaurants to have your pick. The lights are always on (it seems), and there are a plethora of stores, including barnes and noble. However, the only reason I would go here is the theater, because it is a little overpriced.

this place is always under construction, and not just in the litteral sense. When it first opened up there was just a movie theater (the biggest OC had ever seen) and a food court with some small kiosks outside. Now it has practically trippled in size and has gone through a few makeovers. For a while it was a really cool night spot with a bunch of different bars and shops open late, but now it has become more of simply just a mall. When they closed the Crazy Horse, this place went downhill. The Nordstrom addition has just added to the upper class appeal of this fancy Irvine amusement center.

The Spectrum has gotten out of control recently. It used to just be a nice place to catch a flick and grab a bite to eat but now it's massive! Parking can be a nightmare and there are almost TOO many choices of restaurants. I think they have 3 sushi places! It houses the only Improv in South County so if you are looking for comedy you are stuck but otherwise I'd suggest heading to a place that isn't so crowded and huge.

This outdoor shopping mall is highly overrated. It is filled with upper-middle class chain dining restaurants that are usually average at best (ex. Cheesecake Factory). The movie theatre is a little on the expensive side ($9 for students) and parking is especially hard to find due to the construction. There is however, unique experiences such as a (very very small) outdoor ice skating rink, and a Ferris wheel that is usually not operating. Most of the stores are not worth shopping at. It's basically a good date spot for someone you don't really know, because there's enough distractions around.

Spectrum has really become the place to go in Irvine. With all the new stores opening the center full of people. Walking around proves to be a great time and there is something for everyone. There is a wide selection of movies and most the theaters are clean and comfortable. Buy your tickets ahead of time, especially on opening weekends. They also have a student discount.

Irvine Spectrum is located off the exit where the 405 and the 5 freeway meets. There are stores to go shopping, there are restaurants, and there is a huge theater with IMAX viewing. The problem with Irvine Spectrum is parking. With severe renovation that is going on at the moment, parking has become far worse. Expect to park far away and expect to walk far if you're planning on going to the theater.

The Irvine Spectrum is a great place for fine dining, shopping, and great entertainment. The spectrum has a wide of variety of different restaurants, from The Cheesecake factory, P.F Changs, and Thaifoon. Friday and Saturday nights, you will need to make reservations or you will be looking to wait 30-45 minutes for seats. The spectrum also has multiple entertainment venues. It has a 20 screen movie theater, The Irvine Improv, Dave and Busters, and Fox Sports grill, where you can eat, drink, and have some fun.

In this center, you will find a lot of stores that are for young women. You can find jewley, clothes and shoes. Great area and location. Overall, I recommend this place is excellent to shop.
