I really love this place! I have tried several sushi places in Irvine and I find that they are either too expensive or jsut awful quality sushi. My fiance and I went here for dinner one night hoping that the person who previously reviewed this place was right. I was so happy with the service and the selection of rolls is huge. They also give you enormous portions fo food for the amount you pay. They have something for everyone and the sushi is very fresh. We are regulars now!
Pros: friendly, good quality sushi, large portions
Cons: location is small, so it fills up fast.

There is nothing bad that I can say about this place. From the decor to the food everything was great! When you first walk in you're greeted by extremely nice, beautiful hosts and hostesses. The set-up and decor of this place is amazing. Their excellent wine list and tasty specialty drinks will keep you coming back day after day. Look out PF Chang's WS is blowing you out the water when it come to food quantity and quality. I have never had chinese food this good before! There service is definitely something to brag about. Classy professional servers who's mannerisms complement the establishment. I could go on and on about how much I loved this place. They will be seeing me again!!!"

This place is a decent place for a quick lunch, if you like the multiple-entree combo meals (like what you get a Panda Express or many mall food courts). They get a lot of traffic so I see them frequently replenishing the food bins, meaning it's reasonably fresh. It's not quite as good as some of the better Chinese fast-food places (again, Panda Express seems to set the standard) but the food is reasonable, a tad greasy (this isn't health food!) but certainly tasty! One thing I like is that they will let you sub vegetables for the noodles or rice.

It's hard not to order everything on the menu. If you like it spicy they've got it super spicy, if you don't they've got that too. The owner, Victor will greet you with a big smile and shake your hand, thanking you for coming & wishing you well. They have an afternoon buffet if you want to sample things. I highly recommend the Orange Chicken, Chow Mein, BBQ Chicken, Sizzling Seafood, Broccoli Chicken, Spring Rolls, and Wantons. Plus they have the best brown rice I have ever tasted! The Thai Iced Tea is super sweet just how I like it, the Lemon Cake is delicious, and the greatest thing they offer (besides their sweet smiles) is the absolute, hands down, best chocolate cake on this side of the Mississippi! :) It's not exactly cheap, but not going to break the bank to treat yourself, or someone else every now & then. Call a friend and go out to eat. They're open til 9pm (closed for a short time around 2:30 until 4) and closed on Tuesdays :( GO EAT THERE!.....oh, did I mention it's 100% vegan? Don't let that stop you carnivores. I'll bet you can't tell the difference!
Pros: Chocolate Cake, and everything else on the menu! :)
Cons: Price and sometimes slow on getting you the check :(

Wasabi is a great little sushi place inside the food court at Irvine Spectrum.
You can get delicious sushi at a decent price in a speedy manner!
They do a great job of serving it to you fast and fresh and there's quite a few options as far as the menu goes.

I love Wasa Sushi!!!!!!! Every time that I've eaten here has been a perfect experience. The fish is always the freshest and the service is great- even when I bring my toddler they are so sweet to her and patient with her Edamame mess. The Toro with garlic ponzu is my favorite and the Yellowtail was the best I've ever had. I'm going back on Monday for lunch and I'm thrilled!!!!!!!
Pros: amazing sushi and creative dishes

i really like this place. they do not jus offer fish tacos. although my friends say it is very good. i am not a seafood fan. i had chicken and beef tacos and enchiladas.it was great food! and the portions are pretty well sized. service took a little long, but manage apologized. the atmophere is aliek a carribean/hawiian feel. they also serve beer and such. it is pretty crowded and parking is a pain. they have a lot behind the place and its real dark and dim. other than parking. its a great place!!

Wahoo's is definitely on my list of places to go for lunch. Tasty, quick, and economical. No one can beat the deal. Wahoo's is different from your traditional mexican restaurant. Offering Peruvian white rice instead and black or cajun white beans. If you like spice in your food, request the Mr. Lee's hot sauce (free). Be carefull not to use too much. My favorite is their Red Sauce Cheese enchiladas.

My husband comes here for lunch at least once a week and can't say enough good things about this place. He likes to get the 2-3 item combos. Spicy tuna rolls, spicy chicken, Teriyaki salmon will not disappoint. With every lunch entree soup, salad and rice are included. The prices are ridiculously reasonable.

It's a combination of chicken teriyaki bowls, a mix of some other Japanese food and a sushi bar in a very casual atmosphere. The more I visit the more I've come to enjoye Tokyo Cafe. The quality is average, but when you consider the price it's exceptional. The bento boxes with choices like chicken teriyaki and beef broccoli, complete with a sampling of tempura and sushi are a personal favorite and a fantastic value. The sushi menu is long, offers a lot of variety and the pieces are of the larger variety. While the Ahi (Tuna) tends to be average, the Hamachi (Yellowtail) is usually good. Go figure? Keep in mind, you're not shelling out seven dollars an order either. For Shrimp Tempura Roll lovers this places deserves a gold metal. Service is friendly and fast, but beware of possible crowds. The place has become very popular with locals and students from Chapman University. The restaurant however has over time become a little dirty in appearance, which more recently has been making me more reluctant to dine here.
Pros: Casual Atmosphere, Excellent Value, Good Casual Date Spot
