I had seen this restaurant featured on a PBS show about odd shaped buildings. I never thought about it, what with living in the Midwest. Last autumn, as we took a day trip drive out of Boston, as our son visited MIT, we came around a curve in the road and there sat the Clam Box. "That is where we are having lunch!" I cried. I decided to try the local clams...oh my..what sweet goodness! I am so glad I didn't go for the FL clams many of us think of as clams...because the local clams were SO yummy. What a nice serendipitous surprise! The Clam Box!

The Clam Box is the best! On a weekend you have to wait in a long, long line to order your food. My mouth is watering so as I am typing this! Their clam dinners are delicious. Pricey yes, great tasting yes. All seafood prices are high nowadays,,,,,so you want to go to a place where you know the food is good......and theirs is superb. They have had many food reviews from professional food critics. The building itself is shaped like a clam box! Nice picnic tables under the shade trees or eat inside.....
