My husband and I just love Ocean World -- for what you get, the prices are great. We always order a ton of food when we go, which is about once or twice a month. I especially like the edamame, tempura and teryaki tofu. The service is hit or miss -- but the food and prices make up for it.

Ocean World ... I love this place! The total opposite of Daruma atmosphere-wise, but the food is just as great! The atmosphere is lively and the restaurant is quite large. The price is a little high for me -- probably not to others -- it's around $20 per person or maybe a bit higher. But it's worth every cent!! The sushi and rolls are spectacular!! I only wish this place was closer to where I live ... it is located on the north side (86th St).

I think that Ocean World is the best Japanese restaurant in Indy. The menu is pretty extensive and the service is decent, if not outstanding. You will probably have to wait for a table at dinnertime, but the food is worth it. The lunch specials are a particularly good buy. Very popular spot.

Ocean World is the best sushi I found in Indianapolis. Their "Bob's Roll" remains one of my husband's and my favorite rolls we have ever had.
The miso soups and salad are also delicious. They have a wonderful menu with many different Japanese foods. The tempura, and chicken teriyaki are also good choices.
The waitstaff is generally nice, but my husband and I had one incident which made us slightly uncomfortable where a waitress laughed at our order that consisted only of the afforementioned "Bob's Roll". Not terribly professional.
