I have found the staff to be fine and the doctors to be great. There are four doctors in the office and my sons have seen three of them and all three were fantastic. The staff isn't going to be winning any awards for bubbliness but they're efficient and get the job done and polite. I don't need anything more than that. The nurses have all been very sweet and empathetic. Sounds like you had one bad experience and blew it out of proportion

If you can get past the bad attitude front desk workers, you may enjoy some of the physicians at Southside pediatrics. The front desk workers have the worst attitudes I've seen at a physician's office. I don't recommend this office for that reason. I do appreciate the care that I receive from the physician, but I cannot handle the evil glares and short responses from their staff. I am looking for a new doctor's office for my children.

If your first impression of a doctor's office is the front desk staff, I would think that you would want to get nice, friendly, helpful people to staff the front desk. Apparently not at this pediatrics office. The front desk staff (and even some of the nurses who work in the actual back offices) are snooty, rude and unhelpful. They seem to be bothered by the fact that you are even there, even though you are the reason that THEY are there. I have been associated with this office for many years, and things have not changed, even though they did change locations and this office is now located near St. Francis Hospital, south. Just be aware. If they don't care to hire the best, what kind of care is your child receiving?
