the food is fantastic, and the staff is friendly. The salsa is delish and packs a good amount of heat. I had the chicken mole, and it was the best I've eaten. Before last night the trophy for greatest mole sauce went to a restaurant in Brooklyn, now it belongs to El Sol. Friends of mine enjoyed the tacos, and fajitas and were as equally enthusiastic about their orders as myself. Next time I'm going to try the octupus/shrimp coktel (cocktail), I have high hopes that El Sol will win the trophy for that as well (currently held in Merriville,IN). Can't wait to go back. Pros: best chicken mole I've ever had!!

This restaurant comes the closest to authnetic Mexican cuisine in the city. You will see many dishes on the menu that you may not have heard of. This is the place to try new things and you will not be disappointed. This location is spacious and seats lots of diners. I have never had to wait and the service is top notch.
