I have been using www.yourmusic.com (a monthly cd program) for around a year now. They are great! I have not had one problem with them yet. They do great business. Its a low fee of 5.99 a month. What that gets you is one music c.d from the wide variety that they have. You dont pay shipping. Just 5.99. It automatically sends a c.d once per month. You get a queue that you fill up with your picks of cds. You can cancel anytime, and the cds are great quality.

Wheels of Wonder is the name of the skating rink that is on the Southside of Indy (near Southern Plaza).
You probably went here as a kid and it was called something else.
They still have the DJ booth but remember, you can't make any requests.
Have fun skating, they have skates of all sizes available for a rental fee (included in admission).
Lots of skating parties here through the week. Open Skate is on weekends.
They have a small snack bar.
Plus they have video games & a ticket redemption center.
They have added a huge screen where they play music videos during some of the songs.

i like the united artist movies down town the bath rooms r good not as bad as the other person is saying and the movies do run good and its a good place to see a movie the only problems i have are the seats there not as good as showplaces but besides that is a great place to relax and watch a movie

Got my first racing certificate here. Great teaching, and you can get the package without bells and whistles and get some decent learning in in one morning - after which you're eligible to buy more laps around the track in their car, and come practice any time. There are other packages (like, a half-day that ends with champagne), but what you get really depends on whether you're there to drive or to show off. Showing off might not work so well in the end, since their racing suits are a bit funny, and obviously don't come in all sizes :) - but the school coaches themselves do their best to educate.

I like going to Tiki Bob's on Friday nights. The drinks are 50 cents up until 11PM, I think. I think the cover is $5 ... things like this are always subject to change at any moment. The only bad part about that is the wait ... it can take an extremely long time at the bar and then you are supposed to be limited to purchasing one drink at a time. So I guess the earlier you get there, the more likely you are to be able to take full advantage of this deal. I like the music at Tiki Bob's ... mostly hip-hop with some pop and rock. Not bad! The dance floor sucks, though ... it is very small and is not really separated from the rest of the club. I really think it is poor design and should be changed ... elevated and expanded ... something!

AHHHHHHH Tibbs drive in! One of the last drive in's around! I love this place. It has a lot of my childhood memories wrapped up in it. It's the best. I love sitting in the car, laying in the back seat w/ a pillow watching a NEW movie. With some popcorn and soda on the floor boards and kids not being about to find there parents cars. AHHH The great drive in of Tibbs in the Summer! This place is memories!

They aren't on the Square anymore, they have moved to Mass Avenue, but Ron Spenser and his crew are getting it right.
They choose different pieces, some campy, some serious, they employ local talent, yet catch the eye of writers like Clive Barker, who put up their Indiana Premiers there, and it can be hit or miss at what goes up (see Moby Dick the Musical).
But you have to give them credit. They have two stages on which original stuff is done by talented casts. The price for a ticket is comparable around town, and it's located on Mass Ave, so park it for the night and go down the street for some dinner or drinks before and after the show.

If you're a theater person, you know the best of the best work at the Phoenix.
They do the edgiest stuff, usually securing the rights before anyone else can, to Indiana premiers, including the upcoming "Urinetown", which you're not likely to catch in the Broadway series. :)
They emply the professionals, and use local talent.
Ticket prices are fair, and worth the money nine times out of ten.

Michelle and Bruce Kelley loved the theatre so much they opened their own.
The Alley is open to rent for performing groups without a home space, either for a flat fee or on a commision + sliding rent scale.
What's best about the theatre is that you get it for the entire rehearsal process...you're in the space WEEKS before opening, instead of two nights before. This allows more elaborate sets and more comfortable performers.
The Alley also does inhouse productions, most recently the well received "Our Country's Good" and the drama "Pig".

They don't charge any admission and are constantly rotating exhibits. They also offer their beautiful space for private events. The gallery is hosted by a printing company in Indianapolis.
