Kiln Creations is one the many places where patrons can paint their own pottery and leave it to be fired in the kiln and pick it up about a week later to create a unique gift or personal item.
There are literally hundreds of items to choose from at Kiln Creations from coffee mugs to cake platters to wall decorations so everyone can find something that fits their interests and their budget.
There are also several special events every month including Girl's Night Out when customers are encouraged to bring food and drinks to enjoy while they paint their pieces.
All in all Kiln Creations is a fabulous experience for not a great deal of money.

If you need real quality paints, brushes, canvases, etc. this is where to get it. They also have a nice selection of portfolios (I gave one to a friend in landscape design as a graduation gift). They are a bit off the main drag, but worth looking into if you are into the real deal when it comes to art.

I have been going to United Art and Educaiton for years. They have a huge selection of artist's, teachers, and general office supplies. Although their prices aren't the lowest, the variety of supplies they carry makes it worth a trip. Their employees are very friendly and you can find anything from canvases to craft supplies to stickers in the store. They also carry a lot of educational toys and materials which makes it a great stop to buy children's toys or other educational games.

I frequent Dolphin for their great selection of specialty papers and art supplies. I have never seen so many specialty papers in my life. They also carry a wide range of other artist's supplies. It is a great place to go to find rice papers and bookbinding materials. The staff is very knowledgable about the papers they carry and are friendly as well. They offer quantity discounts as well as a student discount.

Michaels is great for craft ideas. They have a little bit of everything. The employees are very knowledgeable on their stock. The store is always clean, although a little crowded, and the employees will always help when you ask them. The location at 82nd Street is a little difficult to get in and out of, but it is worth it. I do miss getting their coupons in the paper each week!

They have just about everything that you would need to do ceramic. The staff is also very knowledgeable about ceramics and are able to help you find what would best meet your needs. The prices were also fair and comparable to other shops.

Magnifiscents has some of the best smelling candles. I absolutely love candles and have tried just about every brand out there. Not only do the smell wonderful but they are also very pretty. I also liked the way they burned without any of the black soot that you sometimes get from candles. They also burned evenly which is very important. Some of the scents were also very unique and different. The prices were very affordable. I will buy again.

I love candles and Bittersweet Candle Company is one of my favorites. The candles burn cleanly and evenly. There are a lot of scents and styles to choose from. All of the candles are of very high quality and made with top notch ingredients. The candles are a great decoration for our home as well as a good air freshener for your home. These candles make great gift. I would definitely recommend trying Bittersweet Candle Company out if you get the chance.
