Mario's is the best kept secret this side of Boston. Some of the oustanding menu items include, Seafood Gondola including scallops, mussels, haddock, shrimp, calamari in either a red or white sauce..it's hard to decide which to choose. I've also had their Veal Parm..OUT OF THIS WORLD.. a very generous portion served with pasta and Mario's homemade sauce. I go there as often as I can..and have never been disappointed ~~~
Pros: Consistantly SUPER, Parking Lot in rear, Warm Ambiance
Cons: , No Brunches

On my first visit I was accompanied by an African friend, who assured me the food was authentic and well prepared. I felt very welcomed by the friendly people. The food and service were excellent.
It is kind of a casual atmosphere, but very nice. We went for lunch and enjoyed it very much.

We really had an emergency on our hands when the water heater broke and flooded out the basement. But Flood Control was really quick to arrive on the scene and pump out the water. They do amazing work in flood cleanup and water damage restoration. They're professional and well-priced. Excellent!

On time, no mess, perfect edging and cut lines. Two minor (nitpicky, really) issues were taken care of immediately. Reasonably priced -- they offered to help with some comsmetic fixes not originally included in their bid as well. I would highly recommend Tom and his team.

Not a sommelier? Better yet, have no clue what "sommelier" means? You're in luck.
Armed with the "smart wine, simple cheese" concept, Albert Winestein is a Hyde Park-based store that's dedicated to making the wine buying experience accessible to the masses.
Don't know what a "terroir" is? No problem. Do you get your Syrahs confused with your Zinfandels? Don't fret.
The shop is dedicated to demystifying the wine buying experience and inspiring the wine-shy public. Yep, it's OK to drink what you like, regardless of what a snooty critic may say.
Fueled with a whimsical, less-is-more approach, the expert staff will guide you on what food pairings go best with that gavi, or what slice of cheese is the perfect mate for that pinot noir.
There's a lot to learn about cheese and wine pairings. So, pop a cork. Perhaps, join their weekend wine club. And let the knowledgeable team at Albert Winestein boost your wine IQ ... one heavenly sip at a time.
