Make sure you inspect plants from any nursery because although there plants look nice sometimes they will sell infested or diseased plant to you, I should know I worked there for a year. If you find... More

Make sure you inspect plants from any nursery because although there plants look nice sometimes they will sell infested or diseased plant to you, I should know I worked there for a year. If you find something wrong either ask them to inspect it, how to control it, or don't buy it. You can't return anything unless you spend assloads of money there(which is often the case since they're expensive)or with a reciept quick in same condition(can't afford losses, small). They are good for variety and knowledge so if that's what your looking for than go for it. Oh, and sometimes good deals on promo's and old rootbound plants in back. Good place to go for that full service old-school feel(as long as not super busy).

This is a great local garden center. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful whether it's treating a current garden problem, or selecting the appropriate plant. They also provide landscaping, although I have not had this service. The staff are friendly, much more friendly than some of the larger chains. There is a beautiful selection of plants and flowers to choose from.

They also provide landscaping, although I have not had this service. The staff are friendly, much more friendly than some of the larger chains. There is a beautiful selection of plants and flowers to choose from.

This company has a staff that knows their gardening stuff! I had mold growing in a shaded area of my planter (doesn't get much sun) and they recommended one product - and whalah - no more lime and the dirt looks healthy again! They are usually pretty busy but always willing to answer questions.

Have leaves that are browning at the edges, or even curling up? Think there are microscopic creatures chewing up your gardenias? Are your roses droopy or sick? HB Garden Center will fix all of these problems, and/or give you the opportunity to buy a brand-new plant! I am a plant killer, but I love them, so I spend many weekend days with these guys. They now know me by name and can probably tell you what kinds of plants I have. The last time I left, three people walked in behind me holding little ziploc bags of plant illness. These guys are awesome at diagnosing and helping you fix an ailing plant, and will even pot or re-pot plants for you right there on site. They also have a full slate of good, proven vitamin and fertilizer treatments. Keep your plants beautiful with the help of the nice people at Huntington Garden Center! PROS: Great selection, quick to help, knowledgeable CONS: Prices not the cheapest, but worth it.
