Upon entering you are given two options, head to the right and go to the bar or approach the podium to be seated. Your ear immediately turns to the music which is supposed to be Italian but unfortunately isn't much more than you would get from a Sinatra or other Vegas style CD. Mingle the music with the sounds of the open kitchen and it is actually pleasant.Our trek to the dining area started through a portion of the kitchen. My nostrils were immediately filled with wonderful smells of pasta, sauces, herbs and spices. I made a mental note that even if I had to wait to be seated this was going to be well worth it.The walls are adorned with plenty of pictures to look at. We almost lost a member of our party who saw a particular picture and had to catch up. Most pictures are fine for the family that were a couple that I hoped the younger ones wouldn't see.The food is served family style. This means you don't just order something for yourself, you order to share. When they ask if you want the regular or large size take note that the large is meant for 4 to 6 people. The small will usually be good for up to 4 adults.The price is reasonable. Dinner, desert and wine came to about $20 per person (w/tax and tip and we each had 1 glass of wine).Buca di Beppo is located behind the Huntington Beach Bella Terra complex next to the 24 Hour Fitness. If you get there early enough you can park right next to the restaurant. If you arrive a little later you will more than likely need to park in the structure. Parking is free but the spaces a bit compact. I would recommend dropping your party off first and then go park. Plus they will be able to put their name on the list if there is a wait.Pros: Great food. Fantastic for a family or large group.Cons: With the family style servings, the tables tend to run out of room. Parking isn't the best.

The services a little slow after seating and ordering our food, it took awhile for our food to come out, but it's okay. Parking was a breeze, it's easy because of the lot. Pros: Food tasted great. Cons: Took awhile for our food to come out.

I have been going to Buca @ this location for a while now: recently, the food has gotten considerably worse but still acceptable... However, the service at this location is XTREMELY BAD. The receptionists are rude, and one of the waiters are constantly drunk (from the 2 or 3 times that he had waited on us) and I have actually seen him eating calamari off a customer's plate while on the way to serving it. Overall, the service kills the restaurant, review of the staff is highly recommended for the management of the restuarant. Buca used to be one of my favorite places to dine. Pros: Portion, food (most of the time) Cons: service

When we decided to throw my sister a baby shower, we thought, hey, Bucca de Beppo!!! It is supposed to have great food & fun!! We were quite disappointed, however. The atmosphere was wonderful. I can't complain about that. We were seated quite quickly and ordered. Our meals came in a timely manner, however, it was served family style. Which means that everyone shares from whatever you ordered. I didn't like that much. We had a hard time deciding what everyone would like and when it came, some liked it, others didn't so some didn't really get enough to eat. We ended up ordering a pasta dish with various seafood items and a red sauce, a chicken breast dish with a lemon sauce and capers (that was the best of all of them), a salad, and some spaghetti with marinara sauce. The waitress asked us if we wanted house bread which we did. It was good but there were no refills. I received a refill on my drink, but that was near when we were leaving. My sister also received a refill somewhere in the midd
