This store looks and feels like a big chain bookstore... but at the same time, it's exactly unlike a large chain bookstore.
It is an independent store, but it is large, they hold many events, and they carry a great selection of books. It can get crowded in here, and that's pretty much the only downside. They also have book signings, which are great - they are one of the only places on Long Island that actually gets name authors to come in and do signings.

Book Revue stands apart not only from other independent book sellers but also from its big name competition. The store is huge with a selection of books to satisfy every reader's taste. The staff knows their literature and are always happy to help find or order a specific title. Despite being independently owned, Book Revue welcomes droves of famous and local authors who come to sign their books. One of the best book stores I have ever visited!

Located in the village, this is the largest independent bookstore on Long Island. They carry a very large selection of book and I have always been able to find what I was looking for. There are plenty of places to sit and relax. They have a little cafe to get a coffee. They also have some big events here. Bill Clinton was here do a book signing.
