I like the food and the service at Red Rocks. However, like so many restaurants with a contemporary design, the acoustics are terrible. It is always too loud. You can't hear the person across from you.
Also, the bar is near the front door, so when you walk in the cigarette smoke is drawn toward the door.

Birkdale Village is the perfect place to relax and have an outdoor dinner -- and Red Rocks has plenty of outdoor seating. During the summer, there is live music outside at Lindholm Fountain, just across the street from Red Rocks.
Devour Red Rocks crab cakes and top it off with one of their many decadent desserts. The service is attentive and the food is great. Enjoy!

The food is wonderful. They have a Pittsburgh salad that has steak and french fries in it. It is so good! They have an awesome appetizer of homemade potato chips covered in blue cheese. They are delicious. They also have awesome deserts. It is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink and a meal after shopping or a movie at Birkdale Village.
