I love the local flavor of this place and the owner provides the real connection to the local community. The food is good and proportions are very adequate. There are offerings for the entire family, especially if you are looking for good food without that major chain restaurant taste or feel. I love this restaurant. Note - The owner lives in Huntersville and also runs another Toast in Davidson, on the Main Street (NC115). Both are excellent. Pros: Breakfast - Great eggs & pancakes with a local twist Cons: Weekend mornings can get pretty crowded

I love going to Toast! It is an excellent place to eat breakfast or lunch. The restaurant is located in a small house in downtown Huntersville, so the atmosphere is unique, albeit a little on the cozy side. They have a standard menu as well as daily specials that vary. There is also lots of outdoor seating. It can be quite crowded on the weekends for breakfast. I've also had dinner there on one occasion, and it just delicious. The atmosphere in the small restaurant is very nice at night time.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a pleasant waitress and a warm smile. There were many people arriving right behind us (a good sign). The staff was courteous and attentive to our table. I ordered an omelet that was almost too large for me to finish! The coffee was hot and they made sure our cups stayed full. Everyone in our party enjoyed their breakfast. To date, it's the best breakfast I've found in the Charlotte area. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to eat, you this might not be for you. I went on the pricey side and paid about $10.00 (other options were less expensive). We've been back many times now and typically make it a stop when we have friends or guests visiting. Try it once and you may be hooked like we are.
