Aquarium World

I have been a customer there for a couple of years. I go to other stores as well, but prefer this store over the others. The staff has been there a very long time and they really know what they are doing. They do tend to get down to the point when you have questions, but that is to find a fix for the problem.. soem might take it as rude or asking the customer to many questions, but I appreciate it. They have always been very honest and helpful. Sometimes we all get a fish that doesnt work out, and they have always been great at taking care of it. I just had a saltwater fish die while in their week warranty and forgot to take in a waters sample. they wrote me up a ticket so I could bring the water back later and not take a dead smelly fish to my daughters game. That was aprreciated, and we got back a couple days later with the water sample, everything was fine and we have a new fish to replace it. Thank You Aquarium World more

Let me first start off by saying that I have been a marine aquarist for over 4 years. I recently moved to Houston and restarted my 125 gallon reef aquarium . I bought some fish from them and this resulted in an Ich outbreak in my aquarium. Their fish are sick and their system is infested with ich. To add to this, their management does not care nor do they tell you. Additionally the owner is rude and condescending. I will never buy fish from them again. more

While the store is beautiful to look at, the quality and health of the fish there is very poor. This is the second time that I have purchased saltwater fish that did not survive due to a variety of illnesses. The fish and starfish died within 3 days of purchase and my water quality is perfect. The fish and invertebrates that I purchased from my local fish store are doing just fine. more

Recently purchase a aquarium, light, filter, substrate, etc .... I should have done my homework first. The clerk that help me was clueless and had to call the manager over to answer simple questions. I told them that I wanted to setup a freshwater planted aquarium. The manager / owner(?) said the stuff the clerk selected was what was needed. After going home and doing some research I found almost everything they sold me was wrong for my set-up. I am not sure if they were dumb / lazy or both. I will never go there again!! more

Aquarium World has a gigantic saltwater fish tank display that is probably about 20 feet tall. They have a large selection of fresh and salt water fish of all sizes. The staff is very knowledgable about fish and their prices are pretty reasonable on the fish, but equipment can be found cheaper elsewhere. They also have tanks, as well as ponds supplies. It is worth stopping in just to see the huge fish tank. more

Aquarium World is a very fun pet store for your entire family. They have a huge built-in aquarium when you walk in that keeps the children entertained while you shop. They have an enormous amount of in stock items with everything you may possibly need for your personal aquarium. They have a wide range of in stock tanks ranging from basic and beginning tanks to show case quality tanks. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. They have all the essentials for creating your own private luxury pond, from bridges to Kois to pumps to lily pads and more. They also stock many rare and hard to find fish and plants. more
