Academy has great deals on middle-of-the-line products. I recommend it over Oshman's or any of the other large sporting good stores because they are usually cheaper and have a decent selection.
Customer service is quite pathetic, but if you know what you're looking for, it's typically easy to find, and checkout is normally not too bad.
They have all the top name brands in most sections. I go there for shoes, cleats, and baseball equipment.

Academy is where i go for all my sports needs. Every time i go, i never need help finding things. Their store is so open i can see everything. I get in and out fast. I get my paintball guns, punching bags, and sports gear from here. Their prices are slightly expensive, but competitive to other outdoors retailers.

We always find what we are looking for here wither it's for basketball, football, or shoes to play in and always for the right price. Here it doesn't even matter if they are on sale or not because they always have good prices.
