I've been to this restaurant many times because the menu is absolutely delightful and full of variety, but the last THREE times I visited this place, I left before ordering because I was not greeted at all after 10-15 minutes. And it was certainly not because the restaurant was overly busy. I still daydream about their blackened tilapia and avocado burger, but I just wish they'd hire more staff. Bottom line, don't go if you're in a hurry!

this place has a diverse menu with something for everyone. it has outdoor and indoor seating. the place is a little hard to find but it's worth it. the food is good and the portions are average. the prices are a little steep but i don't think it's too bad. the atmosphere is nice, more casual than anything. i'd go here with my friends but not my dates.

Offering a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, the Hobbit Cafe has been in Houston for over 30 years, and still shines.
Serving sandwiches, soups, desserts, and smoothies (among other things), one of the best items on the menu (in my opinion) is the white and dark chocolate mousse cake.
Sunday brunch, served from 10:30am to 1:30pm, is also an excellent time to visit this spot.
Take the time to enjoy the great food, as well as the woodsy, cozy atmosphere. Service is friendly, and prices are good. :)
