Come here for an evening of sumptuous gourmet cuisine, world-class magic & comedy shows featuring international stars of illusion. Be dazzled as the resident magicians perform sleight-of-hand tricks in cozy close-up theatres. Patrons can also dabble in a game of fun-backjack, have their fortunes told by famous psychics or take a whirl in the Temple of Isis dance club. It's basically the magic castle transplanted in Houston, Just newer, cooler, and unfortunately, not as popular. Everyone who lives here must visit at least once. After that, you'll be hooked for life!!!!!

I will spend money on great food, service, and a great time. I have never been disappointed by the service at Magic Island. Yes it is expensive but it is more convenient that going to the Luxor in Las Vegas. The shows were first class as promised. The staff was very attentive and the bartender made sure everyone in out group had a great time. I cannot wait until our next function at Magic Island.

Where do I start? How about the 25 minute wait on the feeder road trying to get to the valet station? Or maybe the 9 o'clock seating when we were supposed to be seated at 8 p.m.

Service was extremely poor, with a disorganized waitstaff that was apathetic. It took repeated requests to get water and tea glasses refilled. We were told that they "ran out" of wine, and was refused a wine list. The horseradish that accompanied the prime rib arrived at the END of the meal. Portions were small considering what we paid.
Due to the extraordinary wait, half of our group had to leave before the show. Perhaps it was just a bad night, but I cannot in good consciencous recommend this place to anyone. Take your $75 per person and go somewhere else.

The food is awesome, especially the lobster bisque! The setting is very quiet and romantic.
After dinner, you watch the main magic show and 3 side magic shows. They are really a lot of fun. Every show uses guests as volunteers for their tricks. If you don't want to be picked for the smaller shows, don't sit in the first two rows.
If you aren't shy, it really is a lot of fun to participate because you'll be left wondering HOW did they do that? :p
Definitely my favorite place in Houston.
