Authentic Louisianna Crawfish Boil! 11/10/2005

This is the place if you want to get the true feel of a down-home Louisiana Crawfish Boil! Order at the counter and metal buckets of freshly steamed crawfish, with the traditional corn on the cob and potatoes, are doled out to eat on newspaper covered tables with plenty of rolls of paper towels! Feels like you are at a backyard in Cajun country. Great food, very spicy (just like in LA), very reasonable prices and extremely casual. Great laid back place to show visitors from out of state who are looking for an authentic southern experience! Or homesick LA natives! more

Great Crawfish! 10/9/2005

I love crawfish and this is the only local resturant that I will eat them at. If you love crawfish boiled in a extremely spicy seasoning, then this is the place for you. more

Fun, Fantastic Food 9/20/2005

The Ragin Cajun is an extremely casual and fun restaurant. They make you feel right at home! Service is usually good although they can be a little slow sometimes which just contributes to the overall ambiance of a laid back Louisiana kitchen. Food is exceptional. Love both soups offered! Muffalata is the best sandwich I have ever eaten in my life! Fried shrimp is exceptional. Kids dishes are served in a boat which my kids love! more

A Cajun delight! 8/17/2005

If your looking for some authentic Cajun food I recommend Ragin Cajun! We have tried several Cajun restaurants in the Houston area and some just don't make the grade. The Ragin Cajun excelled our expectations! The ettoufee is the best! Not too spicy, just the right seasonings. We also tried the fried alligator and it was surprisingly good! The ambiance was well worth the visit as well. You will think you crossed the border to Louisiana! It was really nice, clean and everyone was very friendly. Our friends have now visited one or more locations and have reported the same positive feedback. Each was very happy with the food price and the restaurants as a whole. Enjoy! more
