For something different, try tapas. We decided to try Mi Luna for Friday happy hour. Despite good specials ($3 sangrias, margaritas, draft beers, and tasty tapas) it was pretty quiet. Around dinner time, the place began to fill up. The plates range from $5 - $8, and two people can fill up on 3 selections. And I've thoroughly enjoyed each tapas that I tried, especially the fried calamari and morrocan lamb kabobs. Very fresh. I also saw the bartenders serving up "sangria margaritas" which I will be sure to try during my next visit. Service is pleasant. Needless to say, parking around Rice Village is tricky, but I believe Mi Luna offers valet parking to get around this setback. It is clearly a good place to bring a bunch of friends or go for a romantic date since sharing is the idea here.

This place is ho-hot-hot! The tapas menu is quite extensive and mostly very good, but on week-ends this place can be noisy and super-crowded - for a good reason: there usually is a live band providing swaying latin rhythms. If you can score a table on the patio, so much the better - the music's not too loud, so you can enjoy the food!
